I hate to say this but they were quite open with their answers and I actually reckon they are the right people in charge of the day to day operations in our current state.

Interesting how Fisher said Ken Tango man didn't support Thorn with players.

Also Iggy has gone... left SISU (for cocking up this side of the business). He was in charge for SISU at CCFC. Joy Seppala is picking up the pieces.

All very interesting.

I have some faith they will pick the right man.

Did they invest, put trust in Ranson and then Dulieu...all overseen by Igwe? Then all these three were completely wrong and making a mess now they have the right people and Joy is hands on? Maybe SISU are not the devil and just trusted in the devils. Sounded like Dulieu had full control over how the yearly budget was spent as Fishet has now. I do think Fisher and Waggot deserve time to prove their words with actions...in the above scenario.

out of the jokers who we had had to listen to over recent years i also beleive these two are the best equipped to sort it out, but at the end of the day the most important man at a club is the manager...........no pressure then!

mind you would have loved to have been in the meetings with Brody and orange ken!!!!!!!!!!

That's what I think. Fisher in a round about way said Ken cocked up, Iggy fired and now Joy in charge.

I have a little faith now.

I thought Igwe had gone a while ago? He didn't make a peep for ages, so I'm surprised it's a new development.

Me too. And I'm sick of being so negative myself about everything. Just want a new manager, the team to try, relative success and go to support a football team again. Not be a business second-guesser and irate every Saturday! ( and every second Tuesday!!)

Seems he was assigned to a different project once he cocked CCFC up proper! Tango man went with him.

It seems Tango Man didn't back Thorn last pre-season and Iggy didn't know anything about anything. Remember that BBC interview? Such a plonker. He know nothing about football.

Yeah they sounded impressive. Reminded me a little of Ranson when he came in, and I still think he would have delivered had the funding to him and his plan not been stopped.

Yup.... Ryton isn't mortgaged anymore... we own it!

Loan against season ticket money cleared.

Fisher said he is cleaning up the mess of the balance sheet.

We are now down to £250k loss a month. Which is quite a good turnaround to date.

Iggy and Ken have a lot to answer for.

I don't know if they are the right men

But they are 100 times better than Brody, Duleiu and Igwe. Those 3 couldn't manage a kids birthday party never mind a football club

The bit about Joy maybe turning up to one is interesting. It won't happen, but I just want to know what she looks like. High powered businesswoman, I bet she's filthy.

In fact, if we had not been relegated we would possibly in a profit making situation now.. We would have had to invest in the squad still though.

When Fisher said that Joy was now 'hands on' I heard Sid James' dirty laugh in the back of my mind.

sorry mate have to disagree with Ranson......i think he had the best opportunity and messed up. Sacking Dowie and getting coleman and sticking with him for 3 years was a diaster.
PLus he was charging the club a fortune to help run it.

I am giving my backing to Fisher and Waggott. I am impressed and they gave a truthful account of our current situation.

If they can deliver on what they say, and get us promoted back to the Championship, then I'll have a little bit more faith. I always tend to be sceptical about these kind of things because it's easy to say the right things, never so easy to put it into practice. But I do agree, in that I have more faith in them than I could ever muster up in the Orange one and his cronies. If they can get the managerial appointment right, it'll be a big step in the right direction. It does seem as though they recognise mistakes have been made in the past and they want to address them. It all sounds promising, but can that be translated onto the field from now on?

Everything they say stacks up.

The fact Fisher is balancing the books now and got Ryton back and no more loans on Season tickets shows a bit of direction.

They had doubts about Thorn after relegation but gave him the benefit of the doubt as he had no backing from Ken and Iggy. Gave him 3 games and they saw the same trend. Waggs said Thorn wasn't a leader. He is unable to bring the whole footballing side together from backroom staff to mental aptitude on the pitch.

Do you mean selling on players and investing in the club? ;)

It makes me laugh that people seem to think so highly of Ranson. Besides, his plan would never have worked as long as he was in charge of picking the manager.

The praise to Fisher/Waggot is justified, but they can do nothing major without Joy's consent. She deserves just as much credit.

Joy doesn't like being a loser. She fired Iggy and Ken no issues.

I reckon we are getting closer to a forum with Joy now.

Fisher also said IF he doesnt perform i.e. meet targets he doesnt get paid! Did i hear that correctly???

Correct... he will be fired and an compensation package is based on his performance. Basically a fail safe for SISU. You don't perform you get no compo.

I have had enough of the moaning and complaining at our club.

It's time for us fans to back the team now.

The business side is in good enough hands for now, we have one of the biggest wage budgets for a promotion push, loan players will come in to address drive and pace, SISU have signed off a 3 year plan so we have targets to be met.

Whoever we appoint as manager needs our full backing.

We need to support the team and stop dissing our own players during a game.

Time for fans to get down the Ricoh and support the team.

OUR CLUB NEEDS US!

PLAY UP SKY BLUES

I actually thought the forum sounded very positive. Fisher seemed to know what he was talking about and didn't seem to dodge the questions. Onwards and upwards perhaps?

We need to play our part as fans and help turn this sinking ship.

Let's get the new manager in and give this a good go as fans.

If we don't pull together we will never get out of this mess.
