Well he didn't really have a save to make did he?

His distribution was better today though. He looked confident and did some excellent time wasting.

Wilson keeps a clean sheet away from home, and only gets a 6 !!!!
Fadz is a colossus at the heart of our defence and only gets a 7????
Fuck me your a tough one to impress!!!

He didn't have a save to make because of the way he organised his defence, he and Fadz kept the young loans on their toes and have been the reason we've stopped leaking piss poor goals.
No one on here is calling for Moore to be recalled, why do you think that is?

Wilson - 6 - Didn’t have an awful lot to do. Kicking still off but he’s found a rhythm of not conceding goals so fair play to him.

Doyle - 6 - Not the best I’ve seen him and one error in particular which could have cost a goal. Assumed he was injured when hooked but seems not and worked out for us.

McFadzean - 8 - Just class. Another season where I’m convinced he’s on his last legs and then he pulls out a performance like that. I’d rather not us be so reliant on him but no complaints when like today.

Panzo - 7 -Looked a lot more comfortable today. Impressed.

Dabo - 6 - Inconsistent throughout. At times, really liked to get at his opposing wing back but then misplaced the pass, and also conceded a fair bit of territory to the opposing wing back at other times.

Eccles - 8 - Brilliant performance today, calm in possession, positionally disciplined, played like today was his 100th game. No more to be said.

Sheaf - 6 - Just not quite at his usual levels recently, although still decent.

Bidwell - 7 - Really starting to settle into the side now and a constant outlet on the left.

Allen - 7 - One of his more impressive games today, had some quality to go with the energy. Still thinks he suits the deeper midfield role better.

Godden - 6 - Seemed to work a bit smarter today and unlucky not to score.

Gyokeres - 7 - desperately frustrating at times, takes a little too long and doesn’t always choose the best option. That said, another goal in a 1-0.

Rose - 7 - Feared the worst when he came on but stood up to the test more than adequately.

Palmer - 6 - Not as involved as he has been in previous matches. Closed down well.

Waghorn - 7 - brought a bit more experience to help see the game out.

Wilson - 6: Didn’t have much to do, enjoyed his shithousing.
Doyle - 5: Rightly pulled off, and not like that.
Fadz - 8: Colossus at the back send half, threw himself at everything.
Panzo - 7: Looked comfortable.
Dabo - 7: Good defensively after a shaky start, put a couple of decent balls in to no one.
Eccles - 7: Really solid game, used the ball well. Needs to bulk up at bit and impose himself more.
Bidwell - 7: Solid again. Our most consistent player and his experience shows at lots of little moments.
Allen - 6: Just not who you want on the end of a ball, or the start of it most times. If I was Palmer I’d be annoyed I got dropped
Godden - 7: Good game without looking dangerous. Did the other parts really well today.
Gyokeres - 7: Terrible miss and some greedy moments again, but got his goal and won the game.

Rose - 7: Didn’t notice him. Which for Rose recently is very good.
Palmer - 7: Excellent closing, adds height, quality and attacking intent. Why on Earth is he not starting?
Waghorn - 7: Nice skill to create Bidwell chance, looked sharp.

Did you leave Sheaf out on purpose because you couldn't bear giving him a iower mark than Allen but you knew giving him equal or higher would just be foolish?!!

Wilson 6 No real saves because everything was blocked. Punched effectively under heavy pressure.
Doyle 5 I rate him very highly, but he’s playing on the wrong side and it showed today for the first time
McFadzean 8 When he plays like this you wish he was 25 because I have no idea how we’ll replace him
Panzo 6 Sometimes slow to react to danger like JCS before him, but better with the ball
Dabo 7 An improvement on recent games
Sheaf 7 If he had pace he’d be at the level above IMO
Eccles 7 Really tidy and such a promising player. Get off this lad’s back.
Bidwell 7 Solid again, but was it him who conceded the last-gasp free kick and had me agonising?
Allen 7 Another who doesn’t deserve such criticism. If only he could shoot.
Godden 6 Doesn’t look sharp to me. Surprisingly good with his headed flick-ons.
Gyokeres 7 Terrible early miss but still scored. As always, a fantastic outlet when we are under pressure.

Rose 6 Did fine, justifying MR’s bold call to bring him on so early
Waghorn 7 There’s a bit of class in what he does, and he appears committed
Palmer 7 Also classy. Threw himself into challenges well, but looks like he loses his head easily.

I gave Wilson a 6 because his kicking was poor and didn't have a decent save to make. I also thought he should have dealt with a low cross in the 6 yard box and got lucky that the Cardiff player couldn't get on the end.
I agree Fadz was very good at times, especially second half, but he also made a number of mis-kicks that could of cost us. First half he looked very shaky.

Wilson 7 dealt with crosses well
Dabo 7 looking better every game
Doyle 5 i think they set up to cut his outlet to Dabo forced him into the middle and pressed there. It worked
Panzo 7 won plenty of his challenges
Fadz 9 awesome and got his head onto virtually everything today. MOM
Bidwell 7 as usual and almost scored
Allen 7 plenty of energy accross the pitch and had a hand in the goal
Sheaf 7 used the ball well
Eccles 8 really grew into the game and probably his best performance in a city shirt
Godden 7 won plenty of headers and linked
well
Gyokores 7 fairly poor in the first half but got better as the game went on

subs
Rose 7 did very well coming on early
Palmer 7 he put 2 really strong tackles in as soon as he came on and it seemed to galvanise the team
Waghorn 7 ran and harried and used the ball very well

Should probably add…this was the text I sent him…
Terry, you really shouldn't share your correspondence between yerself and Mrs. _dactyl.

( I see you've used 'him' to protect the accused, but I see through your ploy)

She was fucking well pissed off!!!

Her mood was probably not helped when I met her outside the ground after the match…I shouted down the street, from about 50 yards away.,.”mrs D! Mrs D (I used her real name)! We won! We won”!

Got to give him a 6 now havent I?

I honestly thought Allen was better yesterday but the middle 3 were decent and I'd start them Wednesday, though obviously it's a tougher test.

I thought he was a 'little' better but I would still rather have someone else playing there

I just think its sends out the wrong message to change a winning team by bringing in someone who has missed 4 games through indiscipline.

I wasn't hinting at Hamer in particular, he shouldn't be starting, he has to earn the right again

I know this will be an unpopular view, but I think Allen's been OK this season - he's just become the fashionable SBT boo boy around these parts now Bidwell's yesterday's news.
I think Allen is a “boo-boy” because he doesnt actually have the ability to perform consistent at this level. He is a solid L1 player in my opinion, lucky to have survived so long at this level imo.

I dont have anything against the fella, always tries really hard and puts effort in but thats all it is really, lacking quality in the area of the pitch where it is needed most for our style of play, we often lose the midfield when we dont have Sheaf there with him, he doesnt do enough in possession. Holds onto the ball too long, often plays the wrong pass. Scared to play the through ball. Movement though is good, chases for days and offers good press, but we can find better, someone young and hungry, I dont think he’s going to get much better maybe a good squad player but not good enough now really
