Well it should but the Traffic wardens were out in force even against Bury!
It's high time that the Council reiterated the criteria for when the parking restrictions come into force, because as I see it, it's just another money making scam for them.

Might wanna leave the "k" out! (or change the "k" to a "0" if you think it will be a good crowd!) :D

Was about to start a thread but will ask in here.

A colleague is coming up with her family, they are Burton fans. Where us best to direct them to park? Somewhere easy to find, close and guaranteed a space. I warned them not Tesco's.

They asked me and I wasn't sure as I always park at my mates dad's.

Been parking in Tesco's for years. Haven't been stewards there so far this season and can't see that changing tonight. Best place in my opinion.

Yep. no need to warn them about Tesco's.

Don't park there often but when I have I have never had a problem at all.

I wonder if they need to announce it before hand whether street parking is allowed or not? How are people meant to know when they can park on the street and when they can't?

I guess Burbages Lane will be chocca if street parking is allowed.

Doesn't it say on the signs around the Ricoh area, if someone around that area can check them and report in, we can find out.

It does say on the signs, but they are usually put in in advance of a few weeks so how would they know the attendance?

I live near the Ricoh and have residents parking.

As far as I understand it, any event days (regardless of the gate) there is no street parking allowed.
