Which isn’t a major problem in the grand scheme of things, they’re all out of contract at the end of the season so they won’t be coming back.

frustrating becuase we’ll probably have to swallow a portion of their wages

Which is where in lies the problem. It's the proportion of wages which we'll likely have to shoulder. I'd be astonished if the split for any was in our favour. It's far more likely to go the other way.

He must have been seriously bad in training Robins even gave Da Costa a chance

Now he’s out all season he’s not going to be challenging O Hare for a first team slot

I don’t think Kelly will go anywhere. Ability wise the club have now overtaken him, but he’s an experienced head and can still provide cover and is liked/trusted by MR so I can’t see him moving on.

Waghorn and Kane have to be prioritis to leave if they are unhappy as has been reported, we don’t want any unrest.

Next is Walker who is one of our more bizarre signings, considering the two year pursuit and persistence even after he turned us down the first time. For him then to not really get a look in and not be suited to our style.

The deadwood may only create enough space for one good signing, but one contributing player is better than four who do not.

I would like JCS back but if he’s pissing us around then I wouldn’t break the bank for him. Im surprised as I thought he liked it here. Appreciate money talks though. I’m sure there’s another left footed CB available if not.

LWB is the big one this summer too - wing backs are pivotal to our system.

Big ones for me we need to shift wage wise, even on loan are

Kane
Waghorn
Walker
Kelly

Decent wedge between them lot even if we still end up paying 50% of their wage

I don't think it ever got closer than initial discussions, but as soon as someone that can offer European football comes in you've got no chance. Part of the reason JCS is back on the cards now

Hmm, think they’ve got to get through the early qualifying rounds first? Can’t imagine Motherwell on a Wednesday night was part of the attraction

I suspect he'll probably look to move on. If he stays next season his game time will once again be limited, which isn't ideal when he's well into his 30s now and likely wants to feature regularly.

Kelly got a decent wage bump on promotion though and is surprisingly a high earner.

Woukd prefer him to move on and allow Allen and Eccles to be backups.

Yeah he will be trying to get out and we will hopefully encourage that

As long as he does it on the pitch who cares, not at the club to play happy families.

first and for most for a team to succeed you need a base of a great team spirit for a start

Very much doubt that. Experienced head and very low earner… someone you’d want when you need 9 men on the bench

He allegedly wants a better deal and so if he can secure it elsewhere we know the club either match it or Robins waves him a fond goodbye.
