It’s more the travelling and him having no rest , all the rest of the squad had a week off , he was rested against derby to give him a break

Obviously things very uncertain at Chelsea at present so the legion of players in JCH's position are probably pretty low down the list of priorities for whoever takes over

Does that mean we are more likely to see Shipley playing in the forward positions as maatsen will have to revert into the defensive role if bidwell is playing in the back 3. Limits our options going forward

Better with Shipley at LWB and Maatsen further forward if you're playing them both imo.

What´s his overall injury record though? No doubt he has looked good at times for us, but he seems to have missed a lot of games too.

On paper, I would. Having aid that he did it for 1 match against the worst team in the division. Let's see how he does on Saturday in the position if that's what happens.
The other side is, will he be happy as purely back up in that position?

Good chance Maatson will feature (and probably play a blinder !!!) as we really do not have enough numbers , the concern as I said will be his energy levels with having no time off and we have forest coming up

This is my only concern with him.
The positive is that it doesn't seem to be any repeat, recurring injury but lots of different niggles which in itself is a worry.

Blackburn sold nearly all of their 2000 allocation, so hopefully that will help keep the atmosphere at the new levels. I'm up for a sing song!!
