Last time i checked he'd sold 200 something now he's well over 300+. Let's hope they don't do a Charlton and refuse to allow inflatables after a certain point as there were too many already going around! :(

Just picked up my ebay elephant and a blue alien for good measure.
This ebay bloke is going to be able to take his Mrs away for the weekend on the proceeds.

are we all buying elephants maybe we should buy a job lot before they catch on? or look on alibaba to get x amount made with the city badge on?

Just had a look on that Alibaba, be able to get better ones in sky blue for half the price of the seller. he pays $0.30 for those Aliens hes selling, 20p or so each and hes selling for £2.99, not a bad little mark up.

How many do you need to buy to get them at that price? would be worth an investment surely keep it going through the season.

minimum order is 1500 works out at $450 (roughly £290). Not sure on postage costs. The margin is there. Would only have to sell 180 ish at £1.99 to be breaking even before postage.

Forgot import tax at 20%? + £50 postage or so, £400 to get them in your hand. Nice margin for someone willing to take the risk.

Beach balls are good too, would be able to get them in Sky Blue for roughly the same cost. ;)

I'd be cautious about taking bananas, if there's a black player on the pitch and the banana somehow gets on, you get accused of being a raging racist.

sure look what happened my local team limerick fc playing man city the weekend when a bannana was thrown at geal clichy was international news so be careful with them blow up ones if a gust wind catches them onto the pitch that will not be good ha!

Why not try for a different theme for every away game like one week shirt n tie next away game everyone scarf waving something to look forward to every away game could even do a job lot of high viability jackets to confuse people

Without the risk of getting attacked for being negative, the fun and game will soon go as soon as some people return to reality when they realise this isn't going to be as easy as they think it is. People seem to be treating it like a tour of league 1.

It will be like a Tour of League one...

A tour in which we lose the return tickets half way through the season and we all burst into tears as the locals turn on us.

It will be a tour of league One, win, lose or draw, so why not have some fun along the way. Nobody is suggesting it's going to be easy, I'm sure it won't, but it could still be a laugh! :p

After careful consideration I must agree with several other posts... Banana's are not a good idea due to possible accussations of racism. Elelephants though are a great idea! Even if I do say so myself! :)
