Second goal came a bit early today.
Not enough Fergie time.

Not as good as Warnock. He should have managed us when Ranson took over and we’d have not had the nonsense over the last 15 years

I’ll preface this with: I’m not saying Warnock is shit…so don’t get excited.

But. Warnock has managed, what? 15 clubs? There’s no coincidence that his average tenure over that period is 2 years. The best we could’ve hoped for was a promotion, followed by a relegation and subsequent sacking. Only to be replaced by Andy Thorn.

Tbf if we'd lost that game in their position we'd be disappointed given they had a couple of decent chances

I thought that M'Boro created less chances than I expected them to, and we didn't create that many, but played well. Had it ended nil-nil, I'd have been really happy with the performance. The goals, as well as giving us the points, gave the fans the opportunity to 'explode'. Fantastic, and so important to give these experiences to keep fans coming when the weather 'turns' !

Jamie Allen best player on the park followed by a superb goalkeeping performance from Simon Moore two players singled out by the experts on here as crap basically. When Bright comes in and makes it a hat-trick of “crap” players to come back what a side we could be.

You could tell the goal meant a lot to Waghorn, and he deserved it today.

Anyone see Hamer with the young lad after the game? Anyone know the back story?
Dabo went over and got 2 kids, then one went back. He gave hamer the smallest who carried him.

I assumed they were dabos kids.

Talking about kids on the pitch. Did the 2 lads who decided to run across from the main stand after Vik scored get collared by the stewards?

Taking a Hamer to a young kid is a bit extreme, regardless of what theve been upto!

That win was down to hard work in my opinion. 11 players giving it their all, working for each other, and recycling the ball over and over until they create chances. The same mentality that led to two injury time winners in previous home games.

Separate incident - this was in front of the main stand, Hamer came over and was handed a young lad (age 3/4 at a guess) who was pretending to throw into the crowd.

Could have been a random fan but he came over with a purpose and pointing to the crowd.
