Remember him losing loads of weight, did he manage to keep it off? Think i recall reading he had issues that he needed a beer on the way Bill Werbenick (sp?) used to for steadying nerves.

Dieter Brummer from Home and Away. Had one of those memorable Aussie Soap scenes like Scott and Charlene's Wedding and Bouncer's Dream when Angel died on the beach.

I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I've never watched a single episode of Home & Away, Naybores, or any other soap for that matter, so I can't really feel a sense of loss. Sad if he was only a youngster though.

I don't watch them anymore, but as a kid Neighbours and Home and Away were the staple afterschool viewing.
He was 45, so not exactly a youngster but still pretty young in the grand scheme of things. Sadly sounds like another who suffered with mental health issues.
