Lol - I googled him too to see how he’s been doing and he’s having a war of words with the Kilmarnock hierarchy about a new contract

The club claimed he demanded quadruple his current salary to stay! 😆

Lafferty sounds like a player who's the total opposite of someone who'd suit our squad. Avoid at all costs!
Everyone deserves a chance to change
But this lad appears to have quite a bit of baggage
We currently have a happy dressing room without cliques
Would be a shame to take a chance on bringing in someone who might change that

Sideway Sammy’s blog is good for debunking rumours, here’s the latest on EFL Zone’s scoop. Further evidence they know nothing

This rumour is a classic example of Twitter eating Twitter that gives birth to transfer rumours. On the 6th of June, Coventry City fan, Cameron Cairns, suggested that Motherwell midfielder, Allan Campbell, should be a player that the club should try and sign. Having seen this, Motherwell fan, Mike Limaone, then states, as fact, that Allan Campbell is going to Coventry City. Coventry City fans then pick up on this and presume that Mike Limaone has based this on insider knowledge of his club. They then ask respected journalist, Alan Nixon, about this ‘link’, who then responds by ambiguously stating ‘a lot of clubs like Campbell’. A day later, our good friends at EFL Zone 2 state that Coventry City are ‘in the race’ for Campbell.

Allan Campbell is a young player who has performed well in the Scottish Premiership and is out of contract, which is what makes this rumour feel believable. However, this specific link has arisen as a result of a series of people misinterpreting each other. It reflects both the desperation for any kind of transfer rumour at this kind of year as well as a desire to appear ‘in the know’. If this transfer does come off, it would have been a remarkable piece of guesswork.

Anything on the grapevine @better days? Think we are close to bringing anyone in?
Nothing concrete but it's no secret that we'd like Walsh if we can get him so I guess we are in touch with his representatives
It will depend on what other offers he gets but the fact that he was barely able to play last year might mean other clubs are less willing to trump whatever we offer

I know you asked about Kastaneer the other day, Curacao won 8-0, he came off the bench at half time

NI Legend...I won't hear a bad word said about him!

To be fair, he has got a bit of baggage but is an awkward player to play against. As much as I love him for NI, I wouldn't have him ahead of Godden or Walker.

He's got the same agent as John Fleck so knows the club well.

Iv heard we have been in talks with bright for quite some time and is supposedly close to joining. As great a talent as he was for us in league 1. Im not sure i would want him back based on what other players said about him on podcasts. We dont need anyone thinking they are bigger than the club

I think there is a good chance this could be our keeper next season.
Was told about this last week, now by the looks of it, a leak has come from the Wolves end regarding this so I'd say it has legs. (Yeah, I know, needs arms and hands too etc....!)

If this ends up as our new keeper is it bad that i would be majorly disappointed?

It might be strange…unless you have heard of him/seen him play and know him to be rubbish?

Well i thought we were all in agreement as supporter's that we need a keeper with Championship experience? Being as it was a massive achilles heel of ours last season?

Well, I think we agreed we need a new keeper that’s true. I’m not really too fussed what experience he has so long as he’s an improvement on what we’ve got.
