I didn’t see the game so was following from the second half on here. Didn’t we miss two good chances at the start of the match?

When you watch it you'll be stunned. Biamou's 1v1 was very similar to the ones he scored against Derby and Rotherham but Hamer's was worse.

One of my criticisms of Robins is the reluctance to use U23 games to get minutes into players coming back from injury.

In his defence 20 minutes in the first team or 20 minutes in the U23s is much of a muchness when there's so many games in a short time.

Then dock him a weeks wages. Who the fuck is running the club?
Certainly isn’t robins by the looks of it 🤣 in all seriousness if a player doesn’t feel the need for it or want to risk it etc and is slowly coming back you can see he’s taken the players feelings on board

Yeah perhaps. I suppose there’s different ways of looking at it. For example Allen and Shipley clearly need confidence and as they barely feature in the first team they should perhaps be getting minutes in the U23’s

We’ve got a team of sports scientists who should be making those decisions. Getting match fit is part of their job whether they want it or not.

im resorting to a nice malt tonight to try and offset a football related depression, there’s a very good chance me and covcity4life might have our annual midnight Cov based SBT argument tonight . I bet he can’t wait.

No, like I said Robins is a good lower league manager.
He's not good enough for the championship, and I certainly wouldn't keep him for sentimental reasons.
I'm grateful for what he's done but now we need someone better.
We’re not good enough, I’m sure if our budget matched the majority he’d get us performing better.

Ha ha, sorry, I should perhaps have worded that differently.
It wasn't that we wanted him to necessarily, it was suggested as an option to help build fitness but in the end Godden & the medical team opted for extended training etc.

That’s fair enough. I retract my outrage

On a side note, the championship is unrecognisable from when we were last in it. It’s easy to see how the likes of Villa who had a large budget struggled to get back to the premier league

No, I'm talking like we have spent 3 days in the relegation zone all season & are still sitting above it with 37 games played.
The sky hasn't fallen in because we failed to win 1 game. Massive overreactions as always.
Fair point
