So fair to say Eccles and Jobello likey to not be in matchday squad for Norwich then,.....unless it's just to get some minutes into their legs prior to being on the bench?

Jesus u think pro refs are bad. Ref blows for a free kick, forest drrop back to defend and he tells them it's their free kick.

Ht thoughts:

Eccles has something about him. Personally he looks made to be Kelly's replacement. It's such a shame he didn't get the end of season out on loan

Newton looks alright, positive on the ball

Tavares didn't touch it first 35 but he's woken up now and looks threatening, they're scared of him but he's so slight. They said he needed to bulk up and he does. Aden flint would be able to blow him over

George Burroughs looks a real player. Really impressed so far and he's stepping up age gap so this is good showing.

That felt like a first team game - should’ve scored 3 or 4! Some good performances. McGrath and Burroughs both good and like the look of Newton. Eccles very good with the ball. Surprised at how good Bremang looked in terms of strength and first touch

Finished 0-0. We started slow before realising even though they're 2nd they weren't all that.

Draw prob fair result but positives for sure for me.

Bremang looks handy. Very handy.
Eccles controlled it last 35
Tavares is raw as anything but can see why we'd take a cheap gamble.
George B at the back was very classy.
Newton second half was bombing forward and beating his man.

Negatives

Jobello does not look good at all. At the end he was one one edge of area with two players free edge of box. Simple pass straight to their man. He was subbed next time ball went out. He's got alot of work to do to get in our first team.

Ngandu for everyone right he did two things wrong
Bartlett won't make it. Looks like he's at the end of his career not the beginning.

Overll an enjoyable watch actually

Just watched last 15 minutes. They were calling Jobello 'Tobelo'. He was taken off after having a couple of decent opportunities to cut the ball back for a shot but failed to do so. Newton at LWB looked nippy going forward but he looks pretty small. Eccles looked very accomplished. Tavares gave the ball away but then sprinted back to win it back. Definitely looks speedy.

Were Forest playing a lot of youngsters? They're top of the table whereas we're near the bottom.

Well looks like my goalless U23 entertainment has been cut short after 40 something minutes! Anyhow based on the first 40 and last 15:

Jay McGrath looks like a left-footer centre half
Ngandu also left-footed set piece taker
Jobello had a couple of decent moments but lost the ball cheaply mostly
Eccles was taking up the Kelly positioning defensively and also showed some nice touches and good range of passing
Newton looked very quick footed as well as pacey at left back. Tendency of commiting himself in the tackle though - once he prevented a cross in the penalty area but a couple of times he was left on the deck. Overall though he looked good.
Bremang held the ball up well and played a lovely waited pass to Tavares for his chance. I am surprised he hasn't featured on the bench when we have been short of strikers. Seem to remember him scoring in a pre-season match.
Tavares looks very quick and good to see a willingness to chase back. He hit the ball well when put through by Bremang but keeper made a good save.
Burroughs did okay at centre back alongside McGrath.
Didn't see Rowe get much of the ball, nor Bartlett
