We now have to pick up points against teams that are a lot better than us because we’ve given away soft as shit goals and offered very little against some of the worst teams in the league.

I don’t think we were very good. Forest showed they could sit back and defend a lead. We didn’t have any clear opportunities despite controlling the play and putting crosses in because our strikers are diabolical.

4 points from the last 3 games is not good enough. A very poor night for us, despite some good periods of play. We can only hope for a miracle during February.

Trying to understand all of this.
We have conceded two poor goals, but hey let's blame Max who scored a great goal in this game and Baka who has only been on the pitch a short time - and put himself about pretty well. Mind blowing.
Oh I blame the defence too, 2 really poor goals which were easily avoidable. Teams never seem to have to work too hard to score against us, a mix of penalties and kamikaze style defending in most games cost us. What also costs us is the lack of someone with a football brain up front, Biamou gives it has all but simply isn’t good enough. Yes he scored a good goal today but his overall play was pretty poor, Gyokeres was pretty anonymous as well.

Absolutely battered them again, jammy bastards. Dacosta man of the match. Let’s make amends against Watford.

Gutted with that. Played really well second half, deserved a point at least. Da Costa did really well, but the ball just didn't drop to one of our players bar 2 half chances.

The strikers will get slated but we gifted them 2 goals.

Not good enough in front of goal but plenty of positives to take from the game. DaCosta looked a real handful.

Just a shame that first goal seemed to knock the stuffing out of us and bizarrely it took the second to wake us up. Was always going to be a struggle getting that second goal.

That’s the most pissed iff I have been after any game this year, cost ourselves there. A big difference is though they brought on Murray and had Taylor in the bench and we brought on Bakayoko and had nothing left.

Yep, agree with this. They essentially let have the ball for the last 40 minutes of the match, they were perfectly content to just sit back and soak up pressure.

Weirdly positive despite how frustrating that was. Rose and Dacosta looked excellent once they settled, just missing someone who actually wants to scores goals and we will be OK. Sickening three points to gift to your rivals though.

I know what you mean. Apart from Milwall game that’s probably as threatening we’ve been for a long time. Absolute turd defending though (and we’ve said that too many times this season)

And?

The other teams are gaining on us, we have no momentum.
We deserved minimum a point from that. We're a decent side. Get our strikers back and we'll be fine. Drama queens like you love a defeat just so you can cry yourself to sleep.

One thing that came out tonight is our game is a back three and two wing backs apart from their goal Forest offered f/a second half. As for our position it’s still a need to win seven, we can do that, think positive.

Typical Hughton team don’t do a lot apart from defend

the only slither of positive is the finishing formation looked decent and Dacosta was impressive but we've got to stop conceding so easily.
How many chances did Blues and Forest have between them? About 4?

4 points out of 3 games is more than a point a game it's enough to keep us up if we keep doing that although it's going to be a lot more difficult against the so called better teams

Exactly my point, that’s what we managed against some of the lesser teams in the division. With the likes of Brentford, Watford, Norwich etc coming up in the next month you’d think the points total will be significantly less. I really worry we’re going to start sliding down the table soon.

I like Max for his effort but it said a lot about his instinct when he was coming short for a throw in level with the penalty spot in the second half.
