Started Black Sails this week. Wasn’t sure after the first few episodes; characters weren’t that engaging, production seemed a bit cheap and stories not that deep. However, I stuck with it and I’m now into series 2 and really enjoying it.

Still nothing on The Last Kingdom though, that really is/was the best show I’ve watched in some time.

Loved both of them. Give me a period battling series every time. Uhtred’s accent is the only dodgy bit!

Just watched the finding jack charlton documentary, some wonderful memories of watching Ireland games with my dad back in the day . Also heartbreaking to see how dementia robbed him and his family of the man he was

Depending on your age I highly recommend the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Reunion!!

Was cult watching growing up and to see them all back together after 30 years is amazing.

The piece with Will Smith and ‘Aunt Vivian’ is fantastic.

I’m not selling it overly well but if you watched this growing up it is a must see.

Anyone who has watched Black Sails, how did you watch series 4? 1-3 are on Prime but 4 randomly isn’t and I can’t find it anywhere else obvious (Neflix, Sky, iPlayer (and equivalents) etc).

Originally with Starz but think it’s now chargeable on Prime. Watched mine with Kodi.

Marcella is as loopy as ever.
Pretty violent again, and quite heart-rending when the Downs brother is killed.
One thing troubles me. How can you follow someone when you're driving a bright yellow Mustang, and not be spotted?
Still, I'm enjoying the new series (watching episodes weekly rather than i-Play- ing it up front).

Always been far fetched but off the scale this series. I'll see it through to the end but it's nonsense to be honest.

Started watching Defending Jacob on Apple TV with my partner - seems good so far, if not particularly unique or show stopping.

However the main reason for posting; anyone with an Apple TV, is it just me or is it completely counter intuitive when using it on a TV (i.e. the Apple TV box as opposed to on an iPad/laptop etc). Genuinely puts me off using it!

find it difficult to find shows both me and the wife like but we started Dexter at the weekend and both really enjoying it so far, only 3 episodes in, I think there's 8 seasons so a fair bit to go.

I found the last couple of seasons or so, a step too far.

Don't wish to give anything away.

It's still dark fun though.
