I think he would be lucky to get anything at this level. Seems to have deteriorated badly and hasn't played uch first team football for years.

Drinkwater is on over 100k per week and is nowhere near the Chelsea squad with a contract which ends in 18 months. I wouldn’t be surprised if he just runs down his contract or Chelsea pay him off.
I can’t see Chelsea being too bothered about him as a player so who knows?

5 games in the last 2 and a half seasons I think. It isn't that I think he's too good for us, but I suspect that he believes he is. Seems to have a bit of an ego.

Edit: a quick Google suggests he turned us down once before, when Andy Thorn tried to sign him from Man Utd.
