Wigan got smashed 5-0 at home by Rochdale of all teams. They were in the Premier League not too long ago and beat Man City to win the FA Cup if I recall correctly. Now they're bottom of League 1.

Wycombe have taken of mccleary and the lump and brought in a bloke who looks about as quick.

Begovic being told to hurry up by a ref who was letting Alsopp take nearly half a minute for each goal kick, these shits are so inconsistent

If we win tomorrow I fancy us to also beat Sheffield. If we don’t pick up anything tomorrow the pressure is on us Saturday

You won't be going down this year... No chance, Wednesday, Wycombe and Rotherham for me
We’re beating the teams below us, but our next five games are really difficult, Swansea (a), Huddersfield (H), Rotherham (A), Norwich (A), Swansea (H). Can’t see us getting many points there, two top teams and two derbys hard run of fixtures for us them.

Yeah but looking back further they were non league and then relatively recently a league club, who would be around the 4th tier if it wasn't for Dave Whelan.

After the Wycombe player made the tackle the referee was surrounded by about 6 Bournemouth players. He must have told Cooke that he was sending the Wycombe guy of as Cooke nodded at him and then proceeded to push his own team mates back, calling off the possee, before the Wycombe player was shown red. Seems a Bournemouth policy to intimidate the ref. Almost sorry thay Wycombe lost. Would be good to see Bournemouth fail this season

Sheff Utd Southampton and especially Norwich employed this tactic as they rose back up the league's.

Gary Monk - 12 points (11 games)
Tony Pulis - 3 points (8 games)

Worked out well.
I know, football can be crazy.
Mark Robins - 13 points (7 games) and most on here are still hoping we avoid
relegation by the skin of our teeth.

Let's say the results of the next few games we play are going to be very interesting.

I wouldn't rule anything out at the moment. Getting ourselves to the middle of the season around midtable and things could really come alive.

Are you related to Grendel ? You have the same level of optimism for your club.

I reiterate that Hamer must rake Cook in the return fixture. It’s worth the red

Swansea and Rotherham arent anything special from the games we had with them just keep out Ladapo and Ayew in you games and you will get at least 2 points

There's still plenty of points to play for and if we continue picking up injuries and/or suspensions - which is likely given the fixture congestion - being sucked back into a relegation dogfight is still more likely than us finishing mid-table at present. Especially as Derby are looking better and Forest's revival is inevitable.

If we can get more points on the board between now and the end of January and put further distance between ourselves and the bottom three as we go into February's run-in of death, I'll be quietly confident that we'll be fine.

But, our successful few weeks doesn't suddenly predestine our survival. We'd be mad to believe that we are out of the woods yet with barely half of the season played.
