Why is everyone saying 'take the draw?'

We've won 2 in 12. Cant beat turgid opposition. That was a must win for me to stay in touch of the teams above

I hope the team don't have this mentality, we need to be aiming to win every game, not "oh, it's Watford or Bournemouth etc, we can lose this one".

Love the criticism of Kelly on here tonight. Played 1 game all season and touched the ball tonight more than Shipley has in 2 months of reg games.

Save your critiisim for someone who deserves it. Kelly played 3 balls forward first 30 mins that played walker in, Shipley played 61 mins and touched it 3 times. O hare as well, did fack all and these two are supposed to back up Tyler to make the difference but no, the DM gets the slack.

“Don’t worry we’ve got a run of games coming that we could get some wins in”

I agree, starting in fucking August.

It's a point and a much needed clean sheet. Only our second of the season. We looked a bit sloppy at times after the two weeks off. Sheaf and Shipley especially. The game opened up at both times once we reverted to our normal formation.

That said, we need to get some wins on the board sharpish.

I'm praising coventryncittfootball club dominating possession and getting a point in the championship

Your metric has always been we are out of the drop zone so it's fine. Will be interested to see your view in a few weeks-we are not a threat whatsoever with 1 up front

Well a point is better than none we need a run of games with a settled team, Dabo still not 100% but at least he is back.
Plus point Walker showed he can play and with games under his belt I think he’ll be okay.
Playing the two systems in one match could work but need a fully fit Dabo I don’t see McCallum as a wing back certainly not on the right.
Walker got the tv m-o-m but for me our best player was McFadzean just wish he was five or six years younger. I’m not too upset about drawing.
We will get better.

Apart from when we allowed 4 free headers in the box, played the man through but he fell over and changed things making things worse? Yeah no bollocks dropped.
We didn't concede through any of those, whether that's by luck or not i'm just saying that hopefully the team can take a positive from managing a clean sheet.

We need three points. Didn’t threaten at all and again allowed the opposition to have a number of price of piss chances.

We gave Watford a very good game and should've come away with something. Then we set up to pack the midfield against Birmingham and isolate Walker up top. If MR tells these players to have a go they will, the same if he tells them to stodge it up

I wont be crying. We knew this be a tough season. Being in bottom 3 at some point in season isnt end of world

It's very important we don't for all kinds of reasons not least being this is a golden opportunity to stay in this league. That 4 at the back formation should've been used against Watford to see the game out not to start against a relegation rival with.

What a shocker that the opposition had the better chances. That must be, what, the 12th time this season?
For all the chat about how bad we are at the back it goes unreported that we’re also shocking going forward. We’re right at the bottom of the league for all the attacking data that the bookies use.

Golden opportunity?

The 3 at back can be seen as more defenaivly sound so let's not pretend 4321 is some park the bus formstion

First time we used it. Need a bit of tinkering thats all

So much doom and gloom on here

I am happy with that performance. Played some lovely stuff st times.

Yes we didn't make enough chances but it wasn't atrocious in any way.

Could be a valuable point. Looking forward to next game. It's good signs to be better team most games. Results will come
We had one shot on target and it was ball that Walker knew nothing about that bounced off his chin lol

Passing it around nicely (which we don’t even do half the time considering how often we gift the ball back to the opposition) isn’t going to keep us in this league.

We need Godden and Walker up top with Sheaf/Hamer/O'Hare or Kelly, and a natural right footer at RWB. That's our best line up and allows us to be solid enough defensively while creating plenty going forward. We do not have a Juke type player to lead the line on his own.
