Many times we say MR has no plan B, well tonight he proved he has, the facts are we are simply not good enough at this level.

The plan B was threatening going forward and was undone defensively primarily by individual mistakes than being carved open. With Dabo and Hamer fit to start we had the chance to use it as planned. Brum were there for the taking

I don’t think Sky will come back for any more games. Awful as a fan to watch. No neutral would have carried on watching after 15mins.
At least we got the point in a game where we could so easily have lost if Juke had taken one of his chances

You have to think if we’re not going to get 3 points against these, who are we going to get 3 points from? These were proper dog turd, and they still looked the most likely to win the game. Struggling to find 3 worse teams than us at the minute.

Not a great game but will take that. It stopped the rot with in theory easier games to come in the next 6 or 7 fixtures

Showed that we can vary the system to suit for matches, even within the same match. Even made full use of the subs.

Above all it will help the confidence.

That was absolutely dog shit, but I kept watching thinking it’s got to get better, but it didn’t. Good results for us mind, and looking at both teams, it’ll give us some optimism going forward.

I'm disappointed at that. We created little, and whilst a clean sheet is nice, that's come at the cost of our attacking edge. Given them amount of games were labelling as 'free hits' we need to be winning these games.

When will people start to admit that we are absolutely fucking atrocious. Wouldn’t even be near the top of league 1 the way we are playing.
League one centre backs wouldn't have a fucking clue against Godden and Walker's movement with Hamer and Sheaf pulling the strings. We'd be lucky to keep 2 of 4 if we go down.

0-0 is a decent result and a valuable clean sheet. We looked better attacking when we went to 5-3-2, however, we also looked more open.

Walker looked lively today, but that was the only real positive that stuck out for me.

Few notes:
- Dabo's touch was off
- Kelly was loose in possession
- Walker has really good movement
- We dither at the back a bit too much and we should consider tightening that up e.g. Sheaf's mistake
- Aside from his mistake, Sheaf is maturing into a good player who can control games
- Hamer was lively, showed good variety of passing

The problem on here has been those who thought we’d morphed into 80s AC Milan and would be challenging for the play-offs, we’ve never actually been as some have tried to claim.

Osrigaard was poor when came on

I quite enjoyed new system. Some lovely quick passing in the middle. I wouldn't mind if we try it again. No matter the formation I like that we play it on ground still but yeah I likes Kelly ahead and hamer in middle

Think we win today if Shipley doesn't play . Was basically 11 vs 10. He doesn't do anything

Actually looked more solid with 4 at the back, but absolutely no threat going forwards in either formation

It's goals that will save us not clean sheets. More dropped points today. MR can only work with the talent we have and it's simply not good enough at this level.

I'd rather lose by two or three and attack than resigned to 0-0 defensive draws, little action and even less hope. MR has to turn this ship around fast or we'll be going back to L1 minus the likes of Godden etc.

Normally love a Friday game on TV to pick me up after a week at work but fuck me, that just made me more sleepy

It’s a point gained in the end they had the better chances

I actually quite enjoyed that. We've held our own in virtually every game this season, Bournemouth apart. Shows we're not far away from the level. If we can get a bit more height and presence in at least one of the attacking mid roles (probably in the January sales) then I think we'll stand a chance of staying up.

We had a chin on target all night, I thought Fadz was probably our best player just about everyone else couldnt find a skyblue shirt with any regularity...Kelly being the worst culprit.. Shipley was still on covid leave but at least we didnt lose and we kept a clean sheet...great save by Marosi off Juke
