Look how many we have across the back still.

It's like going ultra defensive on FIFA to defend a lead.

I like Southgate but he’s so wedded to his formation even when the players needed for it aren’t available

5 defenders, 2DM, 2CM (playing as wide men in front three) and 1 CF....when we needed to win the game. Bizarre

to be honest I'm not sure I'd change Southgate now as it never works for new international managers going straight in to tournaments. Let him fail the Euros then bring in someone who knows what they're doing. I'd love to see Pochetino given a go.

Grealish has to keep his place.

We need to then drop a few others. I don't like to be pleased that someone is injured, but I get the feeling that if he was fit, Philips would be in too. 😳

We need to stop playing players out of position, play pace and stop packing the midfield with defensive minded midfielders.

Grealish - what a player let’s hope he keeps getting picked we are going nowhere under Southgate

I have always rated him, certainly as a player with great potential. The great thing about him is that he is a player of tremendous energy too.

Southgate is woeful, not one prem club would take him. Doubt many championship clubs would either.

He keeps playing wing backs and wingers or gets his attacking midfielder to push wide. It’s a basic don’t do this.

Why is the percentage of English players so low at the highest level? Keep changing the manager or accept we are what we are

They’re the best in the world and so was always going to be difficult. We gave it a go, had more of the ball and more efforts at goal but lacked that killer edge. Grealish was superb and I was impressed again with Saka. Not Dier’s best game and I still don’t get Rice. A lot of work to be done and not much time to do it.

They're best in the world in some bullshit FIFA ranking system that has us in fourth place. We didn't give them a game at all, it's looking like a scrape out of the group and lose in the first knockout game summer again. Yay!
