There seems to be a new right wing C19 conspiracy theory that the Democrats invented it, unleashed it on the world to make Trump look incompetent and then shortly after Biden is sworn in a cure will be miraculously discovered.
Even though Trump has been promising a vaccine this will still be successful.

Reports coming out of the inner circle falling apart, pointing of fingers, arguing etc. Kushner seems to be on the receiving end of most of it.

Right so the issue people had with Trump wasn't his shit policies, it was him being rude on Twitter? Biden will continue to do nothing to fundamentally change anything, but that's OK because he has more decorum? And Biden is oozing in corruption himself, sexual assault allegations that don't seem to matter when it's a Democrat, a former advocate of segregation and supporter of the crime bill that saw needless numbers of black men put in prison.

Trump happened because Obama and Biden wasted their 8 years.

It’s not about Trump on Twitter it’s about Trump giving racists both online and IRL the confidence to spout their bullshit.

Your attacks on Biden are getting a little desperate. We get it, he’s not Bernie. But he’s also not Trump. This is a win FGS.

It’s more that he’s a moderate Republican than he isn’t the colonel. He said himself, he won’t change anything. Said already it’s good that Trump is gone.

Sounds like an excellent idea. Trumptown AK. They can all peacefully shoot at each other without bothering normal folk.

Can also keep nice and warm with all those burning crosses too.

However, Alaska isn't something Trump does - consent isn't a big thing for him. Just grab 'em by the pussy cos you're famous don't ya know.

To be fair they were massively hampered by Mitch and the Rep's blocking/filibustering everything they possibly could regardless. The fact even the massively watered down ACA was made legislation was quite something.

This will be the fun part. Watching them all tear each other to shreds in an attempt to not get eaten themselves.

Hopefully many revelations to come on how much of an incompetent, corrupt shitshow all this was.

Not really they had the presidency, the HoR and a super majority in the Senate. He didn’t try hard enough when he had the chance.

Look at how he governed, the policies he pursued, the wars he got involved in, the mass deportations, the failure to end the war on drugs etc etc. He governed as a moderate Republican would. The interview is here, note how he doesn’t specifically talk about economics. Again, his landmark achievement in office was Obamacare, which took the form of a proposal by the conservative Heritage Foundation and got support from the likes of Mitt Romney.

He’s just a centre right kinda guy like his buddy Joe. Though Joe is further right.

If you actually understood the quote you would not being making yourself look so fucking foolish

Put down the shovel and dry the tears mate

You’re fixating on a quote while avoiding 8 years of how he governed.

i'm fixated? You're the one who has been using it as evidence

We've reached the post truth part of the day again I see

I think this has run its course. Watch the interview, he mentions more than just fiscal policy and I'm judging him based on his two terms as well. You then look at Biden's 'nothing will fundamentally change' to see that the US will still have the same problems after Biden leaves as when he enters.

This is a sad day for comedy and satire. Uncle Joe will be a boring act to follow the Don!

It ran it's course last night, yes he does mention more than fiscal policy but in relation to the 80s republican quote he is talking about Fiscal policy.

Trump and others trying to say this is terrible however the story reads really well for checks and balances.

Again this shows things are better mot worse

If you wanted to 'steal' the election you'd go for places like Florida and Ohio over Georgia

Between citing Breitbart and using the term 'lamestream' media, I'd love to believe that some of his followers would finally realise they elected an edgy 17 year old troll

It’s funny how he’s tweeted claiming/celebrating his 71M votes. Many of which came from the same states that he’s claiming to be dodgy. It’s almost as if he’s saying that they counted his votes correctly and Bidens votes incorrectly.

As soon as his term expires he's getting arrested and banned off Twitter, wonder which will bother him more
I wouldn’t bank on it. He may not have a route to the White House but he does have a route to immunity. Resign now, Pence takes over and pardons him, Nixon style.

Mind you, having said that Mike Pence seems to have disappeared. What’s that saying about rats and sinking ships.

The Republicans have to decide if it's best to cast him adrift completely or to pardon him in order to keep the base on side

Watched the borat film this morning and it’s very hit and miss but there’s a fabulous scene at a republican outdoor event that is truly awful and hilarious

Difficult one. If they try to sweep it under the carpet with a pardon I struggle to believe that Trump doesn’t have enough enemies to stop it all coming out and saddling the Republican Party with it. Certainly they’ll be no shortage of media willing to expose any wrongdoing he may be guilty of.

Got a feeling we’re in for a few interesting weeks where literally anything could happen.

The way I see it they are best going balls to the wall hanging him out to dry and showing all that he's done in order to leave as few doubters as they can. Some will always remain though

got to be found guilty or admit guilt for a pardon to be effective/needed. Also wouldn't effect the non-federal issues Trump is could face
