Hamer above Godden ? With his goals and assists...sheaf edged Hamer for me

Ostigard, Giles and Godden the pick of the bunch, but they were all good, not a bad performance amongst them.

10's all round bar sheaf he makes me nervous! Excellent work rate if we put that effort in and play with that belief we'll be comfortably safe

Godden 7, now look I respect ratings as individual choices but he's worthy of atleast an 8

What the fuck are you smoking
He played well but he gives the ball away in places that I'd much rather he didn't. Their goal for example. Still he played well Hamer Sheaf Shipley is a very decent midfield

MOTM for me was Giles. Thought he was excellent.

Shipley played well and Godden and Biamou worked tirelessly up front. A few errors here and there, but overall, it was a great performance.

Only thing that worried me tonight was that I can see Hamer getting a number of red cards this season. He needs to stop lunging in. The yellow he got tonight was totally pointless and unnecessary.

Others gave it away in far more dangerous areas. Dabo twice for one.

So nice to do this after a win...

Marosi 8 (2 very good saves and distribution was very good and sensible)
Dabo 7 (obviously building sharpness, hence a couple of sloppy passes 1st half, but does add to our physicality and nice strike leading to Godden's goal)
Giles 8 (improving defensively and some great pace and crosses going forward)
Rose 7 (generally solid game. Thought he could have closed quicker for their 1st goal)
Ostigard 8 (such a strong player for his age and threatened aerially from set pieces)
Hyam 8 (steady and used the ball well)
Sheaf 8 (motm. beginning to show true potential and starting to dictate with his alround game)
Hamer 7 (lovely finish and back-heal flick for Dabo cross. Marked down for frequent and needless fouls and potential two yellows)
Shipley 6.5 (nice cut-back leading to Godden's assist and some moments of nice interplay but needs to be stronger and defensively sharper)
Biamou 7.5 (held the ball up really well, pressed sensibly causing some mistakes from them and some deft layoffs. Made a difference to the whole)
Godden 8 (run his socks off again. Led by example as captain and great reactions and finish)

McCallum 7.5 (great strike and a few defensive clearances when pressure was building)
O'Hare (did what he needed to do, injecting some energy and winning free-kick)
Allen (not much time to influence)

Not sure why Shipley is getting high marks tonight. Thought he was a weak link, apart from the move for the 1st goal. bad passes, touches and after 50 minutes, was being passed easily and trying to pull players back by their arms all the time.

looked totally knackered

Thought he was very average tonight, compared to the rest, who all had good games.

Marosi an 8. Two top class saves.

Hes one who's really surprised me. He has stepped up. Yes we have conceded shit loads. But it would have been worse without him. He's made the odd mistake. But the 2 great saves today top drawer.

See I thought he linked well when we attacked and his movement was good too , agree he is still lightweight and struggles defensively but he was a lot lot better than midweek
