Interesting point about how much football gives the government in tax and national insurance alone.

Interesting we netted 50k for the 2 away games from match passes bought. 2500 subscriptions per game. Impressive.

Means we practically get the full wedge of each match pass bought.

Not read the article but will be more than 2500 or not achieved £50k as the £10 unfortunately includes vat.

Think that's why they refer to getting about £8 from every £10 purchase? iirc
Enjoy the match last night, Rob?

The away streaming has been great. I have two of my mates round (all ST holders) and buy the stream and a crate and we are paying £7/8 each. It doesn't beat going... But a cheaper alternative nethertheless. Could go all west when we go up a 'Covid Tier'!

Am I right in thinking that we are now making more money on away games, compared to when we had fans in (so no ticket revenue and domestic ifollow)?

I did H - you? Thought we were good value for a point and nice to see us competing with one of the teams I expect at the higher end after being a bit outclassed v Bournemouth and Brentford. Ayew clearly too good for this level too.

Yes mate - really happy with the performance and when it's so tight I was mentally preparing for Swansea to nick an undeserved winner. Thought we had a sloppy 10 minutes or so in the second half where our back 3 (Rose?) seemed to be wanting to take a breather when in possession, We came through that and pushed again. Ayew apart, I was (gladly) a bit disappointed in Swansea )bit surprised they didn't try to press us more at the back). If we can get a win from our next couple of games I'll be more than happy with our overall start.

One thing Covid's been great for (there's got to be something!), I've seen more of our fames this season than I have for many a year!

Spot on about the piracy. Hopefully they'll stamp down on the Facebook lot. It has never been so important to buy a match pass.

The streaming is better than the single camera no replays dull commentary on Sky red button...awfull.

" We are aware of some fans who are watching without paying on illegal streams – this is damaging for the Football Club and our revenue, and the EFL are actively looking to prosecute people caught streaming these games illegally."

Streaming it is illegal...

Watching it isn't....

Yeah, we switched to iFollow within five minutes. Didn't realise it was so one dimensional.

Yeah I got really irritated when Rob Palmer kept calling Shipley a striker and the comment about O’Hare never scoring when he’s started for us
Wasn’t even just the lack of knowledge, but single camera, no replays, red screen at half time etc. Was like the worst of iFollow!

For those that watched on iFollow, did they do replays and multiple cameras? Not sure if they share the feed or have their own cams.

I follow has replays, different angles, stat updates, score updates. Coverage is very good!
I know it isn't everybody's cup of tea, but even has the CWR commentary - which I always enjoy!!

Not quite sure why everybody has so many problems with it - has worked great for me so far for every game this season!!

no replays was an issue on the red button
eg the disallowed goal etc - would have been good to see a replay - nothing

usually watch on i follow, and their replays are awful, in that irrespective of what is happening in the match, they insist on showing the replay

Main issue with iFollow is usually getting it to work! Usually ok once working.
might stick with it in future as it sounds like more comprehensive coverage than red-button.

Yes and also the definition picture quality of Sky red button isn't HD.

Was shite. But to offset that you can't beat watching on big screen with the better sound quality.

So frustrating that they make it difficult to watch ifollow. Surely you want as many people as possible to purchase so having easy to use apps for as many platforms as possible rather than locking everything down.

The company that does ifollow does similar for various other leagues and they aren't locked down like ifollow so you can only assume its something that's been done by request.

Agree about Ifollow. The fact is that Ifollow is only as good as your Broadband service. Mine works a treat.

You only have to look on here 5 minutes before kick off to know that broadband speed isn’t the ‘only’ issue with iFollow! It can work first time and be no bother, but other weeks seems to fall out with whichever browser you’re using or need the cache clearing etc etc. I’ve got 200mbps broadband and get about 170mbps, so it’s not the broadband speed for me.

I’m hoping now that I know for a fact it is set up to work with my season ticket not to have any more issues with it...
