Who's gonna make the cut for the season?

A quick tot up of the numbers and we're close to that figure already just for senior players (23 inc Kasta).

If we include a 3rd choice youth keeper that only leaves one more space, without taking into consideration youth players like Drysdale.

Will Kasta or others be bombed out? Who might be sold still? How many more signings will we realistically make?

You might be right, then no need to register short to medium term injured players. I think there are 2 squad registration points for champs league – not sure on domestic though.

Do we actually have to register a squad? I thought that was only PL. Even so, I think all players under 21 are exempt from registration anyway so people like Giles, Drysdale, Eccles, etc. don’t need to be registered.

This. Don't have to formally 'register' U21s as part of the 25 man squad, you get them for free effectively.

I think as it stands we'd fine with the entire squad because of the ages, but I wasn't aware the Championship had to formally put in a squad.

I think all loan players, no matter what age count towards the 25 – so Giles and Ostigard are included.

Just looked it up and L1 and 2 only get a 22 man squad, with L2 being 20 next year! That's barely more than a matchday squad. I know players under 21 but it's still pretty restrictive.

I assume the ruling is 21 on the first day of the season, rather than when they turn 21. Also didn't realise that Giles and ostigard will count despite being under age due to be loans.

EDIT: Due to new info it appears Thompson, Young and Williams are excluded so we've got a couple of spare places as it is without leaving anyone out.
