Not a celebrity but a lovely lady on my window round has died due to the corona virus. Been a customer of mine for years and was a healthy 80 years always out and about. Got told today by her neighbour as I was going to clean her windows as usual. Losing many on my round in fact seems more than usual. But this lady was a diamond and will miss her. This virus is a bastard.

Not far off with that as just a awhile ago a customer said could he pay next time as he had no cash on him ? Known him for years so knew he'd pay so said no problem. 2 weeks later he collapsed with a heart attack and died aged just 64. If I meet up with him in the next world I'll ask for the window money !

Wayne Fontana. Another one for the oldies on here.
Remember him and his music well. Getting scary now. All the ones who were chart makers when I was a teen are starting to drop like flies!

Got told last night that a mate of mine passed away this week aged 66. His brother told me that he was found dead in his flat on Thursday. Another one gone now. Strange times.

Two former workmates this week .
Both had been dealing with ill health.
One super intelligent, for the last 20yrs after a stroke and other complications.

Martin Birch has died. Legendary producer who made some absolutely classic albums possible.

Pete Way's died now too, legendary bass guitarist from UFO. That's Paul Chapman, Paul Raymond and now Pete Way gone not too far apart.

Pete Way lives in an end-terrace house with broken windows in Birmingham. The house is in the process of being restored by builder friends who pop in occasionally but always seem to have more lucrative work to do. The broken windows were caused by a contretemps between Way and a stepladder.

“Can you take a photo of Phil’s house when you go see him?” Ways requests. “He won’t let me visit, you know, and I’d like to see what his house looks like.”

Way lives with his lovely American missus Rashida (wife No.5) who to this day battles to keep her husband on the straight and narrow. She’s naturally suspicious of anyone who hung around with UFO in the 1970s – which means Classic Rock comes under scrutiny. When Way gets us a can of fizzy drink out of the fridge he jokes: “Geoff enjoys his Coke, you know.” Rashida knits her brows. She is not amused.

Way is concerned about his forthcoming medical, which will determine whether he’ll be allowed back into America to tour with UFO. “I’m down to a bottle of wine a day,” he claims, “but my hands still shake a bit. I’m worried they’ll ask me about the scars on my arms. And I’m scared they’ll examine my groin because I used to inject there as well.”

there's a few of that band popped their clogs. Having read a biog of the band it's hardly surprising. They certainly kicked the arse out of it though I think Jack Sherman may have joined after their mayhem phase.

Edit - the bit in bold is completely wrong, he was with them early on.

in all seriousness, there's a few big IPTV providers been taken down recently so everyone just be careful what they're posting.
