Because not a single defender on that pitch that finished the match will start the season... It's not a prediction unless somebody gets an injury
Glad you’re not doing the team talks, mason will

Well, they can at least watch their team in a stadium of their own amongst 50,000 supporters...

SG "Much happier with second half, we played much better and like ourselves".

We literally nearly changed our whole team 🥴🥴🥴

It is almost as if they are completely unaware to the fact they were playing a second string who rarely even played in League 1 (aside from Baka, Biamou and Mason).

Supporters of a team that clawed their way up the leagues after nearly going out of business happy at their team winning a game shocker.. My God, whatever next?

You do realise that you came 2nd in the league last year and you just scraped a win against a bunch of kids who didn't play in League 1 who haven't played a match in months?

You would have been fucked against our strongest, match fit 11 last year.

I am sure Celtic will be pissing themselves. It would be like us celebrating after our strongest first 11 had beaten Elgin City's 2nd string who hadn't played in months.

Never had a favourite between Rangers and Celtic before, but am going to enjoy watching them go for 10IAR after some of the embarrassing comments from the rangers fans

Of course Rangers would be a lot sharper and at full strength as well but....

Well if they’re not close to sharp and at full strength now then they ought to worry - their season starts next week. That was our first game in 140 days, according to the commentary...

Tbf Elgin City are too good for you.

Really enjoyed seeing the team back in action, considering where we're at in pre season we gave them a good game, some good performances all through. Hamer looks like a real find, if we don't get promoted at the end of next season i predict we will sell him for £20 million and retire his shirt.

It's ironic really considering your superstar Ryan Kent was kept quiet by 2 kids who have never played a league game for us and your star striker looked like a Sunday League fat pub striker. He's a poor man's Matt Rhead.

Your season starts next week, that's the funny thing.

It's called showing a visiting side some respect. Something I haven't seen on here today.

Well with a name like Stevie and a sign up date today, reckon that's a Rangers fan!

Seriously, how do you reckon we compare to your other pre-season opponents?

Sadly

Any reputable commentator would mention that whilst rangers have dominated the second half... Coventry are playing a complete reserve team and some U23 lads... And I've not once heard them mention the fact we've been training for about 9 days
To be fair one of them did say we'd only been back training since the 13th

Didn’t get a chance to watch it, but to lose 2-0 to a side getting ready to start their season next week is very creditable. I was afraid we’d get pasted 5-0 or something like that. Encouraged to hear Drysdale did well. We need more players like that coming through our youth ranks. With a few more signings we should be in good shape for the season. PUSB!!

Definitely to match his goal tally :)

Really impressed with him today. As they say in American, great hustle.

2 or 3 quality signings I feel for us to compete
