It's my partner's birthday next week and obviously doing anything normal is out of the question.

Any ideas?

You are able to go out for a walk/run as part of your allowable exercises. A 10 hr jog should do it.

Luckily I managed to get a gift before lockdown but what I'm thinking of doing is basically pound shop versions of what we were planning to do anyway.

Instead of afternoon tea with her sisters I'm going to whizz together some dodgy scones and throw the kettle on. We were due to go to the West End but will probably end up watching the cinematic version of Mary Poppins instead.

I’ve arranged a load of her friends to have a zoom party in the evening with some drinks. Just need a couple of gifts (I’m thinking loo roll) and a small activity to do.

Can't you do like an Easter egg hunt and hide sheets of toilet paper all around the house and she has to find them?

It’s our daughters 16th on Sunday , we had a great weekend planned full of celebrations but sadly it looks like a pizza and movie night . We can FaceTime relatives so that’s something

Well as she's 16, if she needs any other entertainment ...!!!

I've gone for a little game box that we can piss around the flat with and a cocktail set with some booze and ingredients to make a drink and then a zoom session with her friends and family. That'll do.
