We are going in to lock down from 8am on Monday, only food shops and chemists allowed to open for 15 days.
Not allowed to leave your home unless going to the shops or medical emergency.
Not even allowed to walk the dog, (sod that, i can't have her messing all over the house).
Think i'm going to go mental locked in the house for 15 day's with no one to talk to and no work to do either.

Where are you?

All the best for the coming weeks.

I’ve just seen some stats about Italy where male deaths outweigh female deaths by about 4 to 1. Only explanation so far is men are more likely to smoke. Be interesting to see if this is replicated worldwide.

Serious cases in every age bracket is a concern but will the younger ones pull through and the mortality rate by age be the same as what’s been seen so far?

Where?
Reading a twitter thread from a doctor in either Italy or America saying they were treating 20 somethings with no health conditions in the ICU. It’s the very tip of the iceberg we’re seeing in the death stats at the moment, those who caught it early and are dying early. Even the death rate for younger people means thousands dead if millions catch it.

Just a quick heads up if anyone needs them, as far as I’m aware, both Primark and the Body Shop in Coventry City centre have hand sanitiser still in stock, and most paper shops/Premier shops have a good stock of loo rolls etc

Hand sanitiser is useful on the move but soap and water is what you need otherwise.

Our throwaway culture seems to be obsessed with the rip off bottles where a bar of soap is about a third of the cost and lasts longer.

Was at Wellesbourne Market today, people selling bottles of sanitiser for £3. The bottle you’d usually find for about £1 in retailer.

When life gives you diseases, make profit. Bastards.

Yep, I bought some Dettol soap the other day. Loads of that on the shelves in the shop by me. 2 for £1.25 I think.

Smells like lemons too.

It's one of those social media things, must be like the crowd and get involved.

I've read things about anti bacterial hand wash and the like being bad for our immune systems because they strip all the bacteria including the good bacteria from your hands. So when we do come in contact with germs our hands are breeding grounds with no protection.

Also not very good for your skin.

Lol, got a printing business mate, never got the bar as that was for the Mrs but she became too ill.

Sorry mate, thought you had the bar.
If it's just the printing, I know you'll get bored, but please front run off a hundred copies of your own arse!
Stay safe mate.

It’s actually shite, they’ve resorted to playing the Italian anthem along with various Italian landmarks on TV to keep spirits up, it’s surreal.

Lol, with all the bars and restaurants closed i won't have anything to print so i might just have to copy my arse several thousands of times lol.
Bars have been warned that if caught having lockins they will get massive fines so can see that happening.
Think i will have to be on the phone all day, as only me and the dog now and i can't understand a word she say's (mind you the Mrs was a scoucer so i never understood her either).

No one has it down the south of the island and only a few up north but Madrid has placed the ban for all Spanish provinces so we have to follow it. Complete bull and no one will earn any wages whilst bills still to pay :(
