To be fair to Trump, the current Conservative Party’s love of selling key infrastructure to the Chinese and their general love of Russia is a bit worrying from a security partner. But then he’s hardly a safe pair of hands either.

We'll see how long it lasts. Both need allies.

Trump just can't handle not getting his own way. Going to be some great books on his Presidency and psychology.

Johnson needs Trump more than the other way round. Far more. Time to get serious and start offering pork pies direct to the Oval Office

Trump s a Putin fan. He'd love to be able to exert the control Putin has whilst lining his own pockets.
Also complete control over his Parliament and media. Putin going to be in charge another 20 years.

To be honest - all bets are off.

We’ve just elected an openly racist PM and given him a huge mandate to do as he pleases.
Dominic Cummings has just hired an advisor to No.10 that has a hard on for Eugenics.

It’s like we’ve travelled direct to 1930’s Germany... on our shiny new blue passports.

The level of science illiteracy among Cummings’ big brain crew is hilarious. Half expect them to start making policies on past lives or phrenology next.

Especially delicious is the irony of people who moan about being called thick voting in people who seemingly also think they’re thick and not only that but want to use that fact as a reason to stop them reproducing!

You don’t get much more metropolitan elite than that! Could be a 1930s London dinner party.

Rebecca Long-Bailey- Hope she's labours new leader:smug::smug:

Seriously though, how deluded can you be after what happened in the last election to think that this socialism path is worth carrying on?

Rebecca Long-Bailey would offer Jeremy Corbyn a place in her shadow Cabinet

Because most of the happiest and fairest nations use it as the basis for their countries......

People are scared of change and we've been a pretty hardcore capitalist country for a long time. Labour last time went with too much too soon rather than drip feeding it in. Some of the things that've been done already were on Labour's list and just a few months ago were derided by the Tories as unworkable, unaffordable and stupid.

Having said that I really don't want Long-Bailey in charge - would be a total disaster.

I'm massively concerned about the attempt to segregate the press and the Chancellor resigning because Johnson/Cummings want control of his advisors. Also this long game with discrediting the BBC unless it essentially becomes state TV bellowing out govt propaganda .

Somewhere like Africa these would all be taken as massive signs of an attempt at dictatorship and a banana republic. These are dangerous times.

No I am not crying. You are probably the most idiotic of all posters on here, and thats saying something. You've tried calling me about 4 different names, because thats the only thing you can think of when confronted with someone who you rightly identify as more intelligent that you. I've never seen you post anything vaguely thoughtful or interesting, and you follow people around hoping they'll jump in and agree with you if anyone says something that upsets you.

There is a piece of academic research which posited that there is a broad correlation between right wing/ brexit voters and a lack of intelligence & education, and you are the embodiment of that piece of work, hence my statement above- you do indeed seem like a Boris type chap, who is ok with the racism & all the stuff he's up to- or you're just too thick to realise what is going on around you.

Now leave me alone to eat my lunch, I made it myself.

The official comment from No10 is priceless. When asked “whether the PM agrees with an adviser who suggested black people were mentally inferior and advocated compulsory contraception to prevent a “permanent underclass”.” the reply was “his opinions were “well-documented” on the public record.”

So I’m going to go with yes. He does believe that.

Nothing wrong with Turkey Burgers! Got some in the freezer myself.

It just that sounds so much like something I'd see on the school dinners menu back in the day.

This new guy they've appointed is about the worst thing so far- check out his 'beliefs' around forcing contraception on people who aren't deemed "worthwhile". It would decimate these boards for a start.

If there's one person who needs compulsory contraception it's Johnson.

Albeit he's just the stooge, the puppet, its Cummings that runs the country now.

Mainly because Johnson can't be arsed to do the work - he just wants the prestige.

Let Cummings run the country so he can concentrate on cumming in the c*ntry.
