As the title thread states a Bit Random, watching sky sports reading the news as it scrolls through at the bottom when i read sky sports will be showing the Indian Premier league, for a second I thought it was football but it was of course cricket it reminded of a time a good few years back a player come over from the Indian Premier league I can't remember if it was for a trial or a publicity stunt or I've just dreamt it up.........

That's the name, as far as I can remember it was some sort of publicity stunt from both parties, sure it was the Coleman days

Talking of random, I was watching the latest series of Van Helsing on Netflix (apologies!) and in a latter episode of Series 4 someone was being held in a sci fi type cell with a code on the outside that read (something like) MAN-U 2.0 LIV1.8 - not very subtle attempt to hide a footie message!

Carl Baker played in the IPL before we re-signed him.

I maintained they should of signed him, if only to exploit the potential marketing in India.

Amd I was hoping to get kingfisher on draught at the Ricoh rather then carlsberg

I’ve said before about signing a Polish player or two, as with the large local Polish population now they might be tempted to come and support the Sky Blues and of course ample amounts of Zywiec and Tyskie on draught!

Why do they design public bathrooms so you have to pull doors open on your way out?

Easier to slam shut to protect modesty if you're in there. Plus it takes a bit longer to see a person in a cubicle if the door opens in rather than out. Also stops problems with queueing as people would get really close to the door and then getting the door open would be a problem.

Not so much the cubicle doors that are the problem for me. It's whatever you have to touch post hand wash that annoys me. Would be much better if you could push the door open with your foot rather than infect your hands with pathogens.
