That phone in was grim.

Had it on whilst I got stuck in traffic on the way out. I think next time I'm gonna call in because some of those neanderthals pissed me right off.

They were struggling to string a sentence together.

"I was being supporting city for 65 years. Who are he to tell me that im not"

Did any of them actually go to the game or have a clue about the game?

That Brummie Nick is an embarrassment to the name, he talks as if he is a manager doing a post-match interview.

They seem to do it a lot after a good win, get all the frothers on so Clive can rant about St Andrews. If he doesn't like it, maybe he can fuck off to cover Wasps full time and let somebody who has half a clue about things cover our games?

I stopped listening to it about 10 years ago. Makes me cringe and a lot of people from Cov sound like Brummies. Can’t listen to it. I’d rather hear people talk shit in the pub so I can have a beer at the same time and tell them they are talking shit.

Brummie Nick does not even go I don’t think. Sure he said anyone going is a traitor who supports Sisu

Most of them are brummies rather than from Cov from the sounds of it.

There's one bloke who says "ya know" after everything to try and get Clive to reassure him.

Did they have anybody on at all last night who had seen the game?

I did t hear it but I doubt it. Unless Ian from Shipton called in

I only heard it by the time I had got to the car and put it on so probably missed a couple.

What annoys me is the people saying "I listened to the amazing commentary", which is when you know they are batshit mental.

Bit like a certain CT comments guy who is NOPM went by the name of SSB and said he didn’t need to go to games or indeed listen as he had Andy Turners excellent reports and that’s enough

It's no wonder all the frothers speak so much shite.

I don't understand why the calls always have to start with how long they've been a supporter...

The only reason i do is for Robins post match interview and tbh i do like to listen to how the goal sounded on the radio too at the end of the programme.

Who was the fellow commentator with Clive last night? Didnt recognise who that was.

Yeah, as soon as they say they have been a supporter for 60 years you can usually guarantee what follows is absolute shit.

Somehow saying they have supported since the 50's means it is fact.

They do !!
Potentially yourself also.
I grew up in the hinterlands of Berkswell and may have been tainted at senior school, although I don't really recall any pupils being obvious Brummies .
Now I wasn't aware of it myself ,but somehow I ended up hearing my voice back from some recorded audio.
Stunned to hear that twang in my Voice, which is not apparent to me when in conversation .
No one has ever told me I sound Brummie,so I'm assuming it's just some peculiar aberration.

stopped listening ages ago fed up with the presenter stating he has got to remain neutral then keeps going on about should be playing back at the Ricoh all the time and he cannot read and talk at the same time! utter drivel!

Im so passed it now. I’ve got it straight in my mind.

I didn’t go to Northampton as Sisu were trying to bankrupt acl and get the Ricoh on the cheap
They couldn’t play at the Ricoh this year so the choice was to have a team and play as close as possible or not have a team at all so I’m therefore going to support my team all be it at St. Andrews this season. Travel is cheap I can park by the stadium for free and I get back about 10 mins later than from the Ricoh

I have no problem with anyone choosing not to go so long as they understand (and not one person who phoned up did) that fundamentally this is different to Northampton

I am very happy some can’t go but the honest thing is that people are choosing not to go and that’s absolutely fine. Think the trust board all choose not to go which I find absurd but it’s their choice and I know certain ones of them have still financially supported the club allowing others to go

I thought his question was excellent about if it was announced that next season we would be back in coventry would you go. That was good I thought.

I think it’s fair to push ccfc and Sisu on that question. If it’s going to happen tell us and then more can feel able to go temporarily.

I think CJ deliberately stating he refuses to go isn’t helpful

Irritated by the phone-in after the game; most of the callers claimed to have been supporters since God was a boy (as if that gives them greater relevance) but none of them were going to the games at SA. They might have an "interest" in CCFC, they might be "fans", but they are clearly not "supporting" in any true sense; the clue is in the word. Obviously some people cannot get to games (due to distance, logistics, health, mobility or affordability reasons), but I didn't hear any of the callers say they were not going for any of these totally understandable reasons. They simply choose not to, and I do not understand CWR giving them air time to moan.

They were responding I think because of the first frother who had a rant.
