Anyone else think they got it wrong today ? Hearing stories of turn styles kept turning people getting in without tickets ? Radio reporting fight broke out on a walkway, have to say half time toilets etc was beyond a joke of crowding, tickets sold for front rows and brum then had them roped off,we had people next to us all on the stairs

It's not a good ground.

Atmosphere is okay and the location is good but the facilities are shite.

Didn’t even bother queuing for the usual half time pie and a pint after the effort to get to my seat in the first place. It’ll be interesting to see if Brum handle it differently in the replay.

Stewards appeared to be non-existent. So many people drinking beer in their seats, and blatant with it. Didn’t really bother me, more so highlighted the lack of presence.

that really shouldn't be a problem in a civilised society.

absolutely not. It happens at other sports; Rugby, Cricket, Darts etc. yet football is tainted with the negative image. To be honest, it is warranted. There were some absolute bellends there today.

Half time was fucking riddiculous!

Took me 10 mins to get from the toilet back to my seat

I was in block 9, there was a toilet at the Main stand end of the Tilton Stand, but stewards were telling everyone to use the ones at the other end, because they were "out of order". Another reason the Safety team made an absolute balls up. The entrance to blocks 1 - 7 of the Tilton wasn't open, but was not shared in any way with other parts of the ground/Blues areas. We should have had the whole Tilton Stand, and I believe we'd have filled it.

I was behind the goal in the Tilton end. I thought it was weird being in the lower tier and having to leave the stadium via the higher tier but I think that’s just the layout of the land around the ground. The concourse was rammed but I got served by a van outside the entrance. Didn’t have a problem tbf

Actually that’s a good point.
In my health and safety training I’m sure I remember there’s like 750 near misses for every accident and similar for accidents to serious accidents. It was very dangerous an absolutely accident waiting to happen by block 16-18 with lots of young kids. The twats could see them but were so pissed up they didn’t give a shit. First time I’ve been scared that I couldn’t control what was happening

Just reflecting on yesterday.

That was the longest I have ever queued for the toilet and a drink in any ground I have been.

Was speaking to a few Blues before the game and they said that the stadium would never be able to hold the full 29k anymore due to it being unsafe to do so. Can now see why.

Was great having fans behind the goal for a home game and I'm sure the celebrations would have been phenomenal had O'Hare scored in front of them.

Yeah I can imagine, I am the biggest on my street for my age and I was getting crushed so for smaller people / kids / OAPs it would have been horrible.

Plenty of people in the bogs just for the coke rather than having a shit. Amazes me how you can't take a bottle of ribena in for a child but you can take a bag of coke in.

Maybe powdered Nesquik in little bags next time?
