It's so tough to make a call on this; Doncaster, Fleetwood, Pompey are all there or thereabouts, alongside the current top 6. If every team won their games in hand on the top two (which may not be possible depending on the match-ups) there would be a cigarette paper between them. I'm going to say 7th, just because I don't think we're quite there as a team yet. If some of our guys had an extra year or two of experience, I'd be saying top 2.

Top of the fucking pile. Honestly if you don't imagine that this is a very real possibility given our domination of games and the fact that every contender flatters to deceive then you're a pessimist.

I know we've done this before and then thrown it all away. But the name 'Coventry City' is just a name; it wasn't this team. I predict we'll win the title in the last game, beating Wimbledon with the last kick of extra time to secure it.

Wycombe won't be anywhere near. Oxford will fade. Rotherham, us, Ipswich, Sunderland and Doncaster will be vying for top 2 in my opinion.

We seem to be a “playoff” team. Lots of good games but some that just leave us missing a little bit extra to get 3 points. Having said that, this season there seems to be more playoff type teams than usual and fewer teams deserving of automatic promotion.

Prior to today’s match, I would’ve thought that a win today a MK Dons and a draw next week vs Doncaster would have really been a good set of results. After today’s draw, I feel it is imperative that we beat Doncaster next week. That will be a big ask considering their recent form. We need to stop playing the same unchanged line-up every game and then saying “the players are tired.” Rotate the squad and give players like Allen, O’Hare, Mason, and Hiwula some quality minutes.

I voted 7th.
That's based on goal difference.
Goal difference is a pretty good indicator of where teams will finish and our goal difference is poor even with the two recent 4-1 victories.

A big factor will be the remainder of the transfer window
Not just us but the teams around us
With us it is a more of whom we keep rather than whom we buy in my opinion.
So, ask me at the end of January.

Hopefully top two.

Worryingly Rotherham, Ipswich and Sunderland all come into a bit of form hopefully this won’t last too long!

Not too worried about anyone else-just got to keep grinding out results and we’ll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season.

I think the top six will be made up of (in no particular order):

Ipswich
Sunderland
Rotherham
Oxford
Portsmouth
Peterborough

I think Doncaster, Fleetwood and ourselves will just miss out. Watch out for Burton as I believe, they’ve played an unusual proportion of their games away

Somewhere between 5th and 8th for me, so hopefully make the playoffs.
Not sure whether the stats back it up or not ‘but 6th place seems to be a fruitful position to finish ‘with regards to promotion,
