A post where we can put all the songs so when people forget the words, they can come here and see all the songs.

I want players, traditonal, general, opposition, manager, and even ideas for songs and I'll put them in this post!

Don't know about you but I always forget the words to longer songs like Shipley, and Eyeyeyeyo!

Bakayoko
20 Goals, 20 Goals, Bakayoko,
20 Goals, 20 Goals, I say,
20 Goals, 20 Goals, Bakayoko,
Being offside-all-fucking-day
/Playing football the offside way
/Bakayoko Play up Sky blues

Hiwula
Jordy Hiwula
Jordy Hiwula
Oh it's Jordy Hiwula
He plays for City
Sky blue army!

Shipley
He dreamed to play for City,
When he was just a boy.
He signed when he was seven,
And his heart it filled with joy.
Now he's in the first team,
His dreams are coming true.
His name is Jordan Shipley,
And he's City through and through!
Allez allez allez!
Allez allez allez!
His name is Jordan Shipley,
And he's City through and through!

The Sky Blue Song

Let's all sing together
Play up Sky blues
While we sing together
We will never lose
Tottenham or Chelsea
United or anyone
They shan't defeat us
We'll fight till the game is won
City, City, City!

In our Coventry Homes

In our Coventry Homes
In our Coventry Homes
We speak with an accent exceeding rare
You want a cathedral? We've got one to spare
In our Coventry homes

Robins is our king

EYiEYiEYiO
Up the football league we go
When we get promotion
This is what we'll sing
We are city
We are city
Robins is our king

Robins Wonderland

There's only one Mark Robins
One Mark Robins
Walking along, singing a song
Walking in a Robins wonderland

Everywhere we go

Everywhere we go
Everywhere we go
It's the City boys
Making all the Noise
Everywhere we go

Twist 'n' Shout (Sky blues edition)

On our way

On our way, we're on the way
To the championship, we're on the way
How do we get there I don't know
How do we get there I don't care
All I know is City's on the way

Leicester
Your mums your dad
Your dads your mum
Your interbred and your Leicester scum

Villa
Shit on the villa
Shit on the villa tonight
Shit on the villa
Shit on the villa tonight
Shit on the villa cause their a load of shite

Sunderland
Sunderland get battered,
Everywhere they go
Sunderland get battered
Everywhere they go
Everywhere they go...

My City
You are my City
My only City
You make me happy when skies are grey.
You never notice how much I love you
Won’t you take my city away.

I have never heard this sung at a Coventry match in my life. Is it an age thing? (I’m 28)

Can't recall hearing it at a football match but do recall hearing/joining in during many a NAAFI bar drinking session when in the forces.
There were extra verses - courtesy of the more imaginative.
IRISH: (No offence intended, I served with quite a few Irish lads from both sides of the border and even now I don't think the Irish take exception to an 'Irish joke')
IRISH: 'Hello moo moo, hello moo moo, he was saying goodbye to his horse'.....
GEORDIE: (Served with a few Geordies, too and they do speak like this)
GEORDIE: 'Howay clippa cloppa, howay clippa cloppa, he was saying goodbye to his horse'....
FRENCH: (Never served with a Frenchman but it's no secret about some of their dietary preferences)
FRENCH: 'Au revoir petit dejeuner, au revoir petit dejeuner, he was saying goodbye to his horse'....
There were other lines/idiosyncracies - some playful, others which could be considered insulting, but I can't remember them. (NAAFI bar beer was not watered down)

Lots of generic, everyone sings those songs knocking about.

Would be good if we had loads of original stuff.

I'm approaching 48, I remember the wheelbarrow song but not the Horse one.
Love it though!

If I had the wings of an Eagle, the arse of a bloody great Cow, I'd fly over Leicester City and shit on the bastards below below.
Shit on Shit on Shit on the bastards below below, shit on shit on shit on the bastards below below.
One of my particular favourites at the time

I remember (most of it anyway!) one from the '70's that went something like:
'City score, City score, if you get one you'll get more, we'll ............... ........ ........ when we get to Wembley so score, City score',
* The gaps are the bits I never heard clearly/can't remember.
