I'm not having a moan, although it is obviously something that should be looked at, I'm more just a bit of a stats geek so like a good statistic (although technically don't like this stat). After Spurs' win at West Ham on Saturday, I believe we are now the team with the longest winless away run in league games of all top 4 English leagues with our run stretching back to the 13th April in the dramatic 4-5 win at the Stadium of Light.

Whilst it would of course be great to have an away win we have earned the same amount of points away from home as Fleetwood and only 1 less than Sunderland and Pompey.

Apart from Rotherham we've been "in" every away game so its not that we aren't performing away from home, that would be more worrying.

We've played Pompey, Oxford, Burton Rotherham, Peterborough and Sunderland away already and lost once.

We should be turning a few of those draws into wins but I think we'll see the record improve when we play some of the lesser sides.
While I agree, we did draw 0-0 with a Bolton team that had like 5 17 year olds.

We had the ball in the net legitimately at least once and weren't given several stonewall pens.
Didn't Robins say one was offside, one was marginally off and one should have counted? I wasn't there but I remember thinking I wasn't convinced by the penalty shout when I saw it on the highlights. Irrespective, we should be putting that team, or at least one other away in that period in my opinion. It's a lot of straw clutching considering we have the longest winless run out of 91 teams.

I don't see it being a problem, as long as we are drawing away and winning at home.

We will win some away games soon. I agree winning at home drawing away is a good yardstick for a successful season. But it doesn't half put you under pressure to drop no points at home.

To be successful teams need to win some games away.

We need to win away to offset the dropped points at home & away in relation to that ideal of winning all our home games and drawing all our away games. At the moment we are about 6 points behind that ideal position which effectively equates to finding another 3 away wins. If we drop more home points in the meantime then we will obviously need more away wins.

Our poor away from, and the refusal to play 2 up front, along with our obvious inability to bring in any striker capable of finding his own arse with both hands and a map, will eventually be the reason that we fail to go up this season.

Going by the coulda, woulda, shoulda mindset, the games against Bolton, Oxford, MK Dons, Burton, Peterborough and Sunderland could arguably have all heralded wins. I hope the 10 points dropped doesn’t come back and bite us on the backside come May.

We don’t have “poor away form”

We need an away win but overall we have played very well. Unfortunately we have missed chances to kill teams away and as game has gone on and longer game gone on also midfield and defence not shown mental strength/confidence to see out games so not entirely forwards fault which is a common trap most fall into.

That being said our away point haul in total is comparable to most in division so not that bad!
