with that track record ....... no thanks, we have suffered enough for 11 years. That said SISU have always ensured the club paid the wages and bills on time (ignoring the rent strike which was for a specific purpose)

If it were to happen, I can see a section of fans being happy with his penchant of getting a new manager in every month...

For those calling BS, David Ornstein only usually says something if he is 100% sure of it, which is what worries me about this. It's not like he's going to make up Coventry City news for clicks either.

Having worked in sports journalism, this info is almost certainly coming from Fawaz himself/his group. Much like the recent rumours about a certain manager replacing Emery at Arsenal that has all come from the manager's agent feeding info to media to drum up interest in that manager.

Maybe people will realise we could have a lot lot worse owners.

SISU’s biggest fault has been poor PR and a refusal to throw good money after bad. I much prefer a sustainable (or ambition to be) model to something like bury
A lot worse owners? Are you mental? Sisu are arguably the worst owners in football. The tenure under sisu has been nothing short of a complete disaster.

If it meant us being back at the Ricoh and Robins having 2 mill to spend in Jan I'm sure we'd all take it... Went good at the start for Forest then downhill though

Why? Because they are not a billionaire sugar daddy who pumps millions into the club with no expected return? Because they try to make the club self sufficient as much as possible and run it like a functioning business so we don't end up like Bury?

Their PR and relationship with the fans has been shite, and certainly in the first 5 years they were guilty of putting too much trust in idiots who knew nothing about football.

Since then they have:
- Got us out of a crippling lease with the council, paying 1.2mGBP a year in rent for access to a stadium 24 days a year. They had to do this the hard way as the Council would not negotiate...and they were already dropping their pants for Wasps (before the sixfields move).

- Challenged, through the legal system, as to why the Council sold the stadium (that is, a full 250 year leasehold) that was built for the football club to a London based, hedgefund owned, Rugby club, for a mere figure of around 4x what our aforementioned annual rent was.

- Refused to conform to Wasps outrageous demand of agreeing to indemnify them if they are financially impacted by any legal challenge. Which I fully agree is not something we can ever agree to. As a result we were kicked out of the Ricoh.

- Seemingly learned their lesson, if Mowbrays and Robins words mean anything, and handed over pretty much full control of a budget to footballing people managing the club.

Did I miss anything? Without getting aggressive, I'd love it if you could reply directly to the above bullet points with your considered viewpoints, as well as then add anything which i'll gladly discuss objectively with you.

Yeah you missed the bit where Sisu signed a rental contract after due diligence, then went on rent strike and moved us to Sixfields, halving the clubs value, lied repeatedly to the fans about a new stadium, then continually pursued their landlord in the courts and cried when they were told to do one, then moved us out of Cov again.
They are proven incompetent, lying shite.
This guy is no better.

I mean the rental agreement was In place prior to them being here but yeah the rest.

Id say getting out the rent agreement was paramount, the way they did it had a lot to be desired though

the woodwork is shaking this week.
This guy is a fucking idiot, and only a fellow idiot like maton could describe him as having credibility.
He was a nightmare at Forest, no point in swapping one shit owner for another.

I've given up on the club? Have you any evidence that I have?
You’ve come on here to tell us that the club is fucked and that you don’t go to “the sty”

the club need us more than ever, you don’t need to tell us that SISU are shysters - we know they are. But the current situation means we’re at St Andrews - either get up there and support them, keep the club on life support until a solution is found or fuck off.

we don’t need fans like you. So yes you’ve given up - checking the results now and then is not supporting the club.

Oh fuck off you patronising arsehole. You've no idea how long I've supported the club. No I wont go to the sty. Who the fuck are you to tell me what to do? I'll support my club again when it's back in Coventry along with the thousands of others that refuse to go. Here's a thought. Why don't doormats like you start demanding answers from the owners? They've hoodwinked you all again about new stadiums blah blah. Start demanding answers from fisher etc when they plan on laying a brick. It's not the stay away fans fault. Take your anger out on the owners who've now moved the club twice.
