Ipswich will piss the league. If we stop fucking about at the back and are lucky with injuries I'm hopeful of autos but I predict a safe play off spot.

Put your house on it.

who gets's dropped?

Based on performances, easily Walsh. Walsh is a tidy player with the ability to dictate play and pick a pass. But he also takes about 60 mins to get going. He made a great goal saving tackle yesterday, but defensively he isn't up to Kelly's standard, and I think that has been sorely missed and is one of the reasons the defence has looked so much more exposed.

First time at St Andrews, not bad but too much travelling think I’ll wait till they come back to the Rico or our own ground. Shipley was immense , Hiwula missed 2 chances and failed to TrackBack when they’re right back swept down the wing to create the goal. All in all I was impressed by the quality of play . The villa kid looks good . Need to replace Hiwula but don’t think Bakayoko is the answer

Missed the last 2 mins to leave for train. Did we have a good chance at the death?

Kastaneer made a good run down the flank and played it into Oh are in the middle but it was just slightly too fear ahead of him and the keeper got to it.

Thought we were good yesterday, started slowly but once on it carved them open a number of times should have been 4-1 minimum at half-time, missed chances again though. Think we saw a real player in Kasteneer looked match fit at last his couple of surging runs reminded me of big Cyrillie
Was definitely handball but looking at replay the ball seemed to come off players chest maybe the ref saw it that way but I will say the second half referee looked way out of his depth.
Got to improve our set pieces though we get quite a few now.

What? Hiwula gunned it back to try and close down their player who created the goal. He tracked him the whole way. Hyam not coming out to pressure cost us. Backed off all the way to our box leaving it on a plate for the guy to cross.

Average over 12k last season when we never once reached the top 6.This season unbeaten in ten games, won every home game bar yesterday. I think we would and the evidence would be the gates we were getting in the Mowbray season.

The average was distorted by the community game - without big sway followings we’d be nowhere close to it

The community day added less than 1k per average attendance and since when are away fans not counted in the average attendance?

I’m saying we wouldn’t have got 14,000 unless it’s a big following like Sunderland we’d not get more than 12,000 home fans for a game like yesterday

I think being top and the footy we play we would be getting close to 14k for sure

We got 10-12 in lwague 2? Extra few thousand seems realistic

I wonder if realistic talks are going on to bribg us back this season or not

It added 650 to be precise (based on the fact we'd probably have got 11K for that fixture otherwise, so an extra 15K over 23 games).

I think people do over-egg the crowds we'd be getting if we were at the Ricoh, but also we would have got over 14K yesterday. The Mowbray season is probably a good comparison, we got 16K against Gillingham when we were flying early in the season iirc, but think that was November so a bit later. Crowds peaked around Xmas that year.

Thoughts on Kasta? Sheer size and pace will threaten most defenders. His touch was too heavy for most part but maybe that's lack of game time. Think Robins will be upping his minutes so time will tell.

Gates grow with success has crept up from 5000 to 7000 the same would happen at Ricoh, first game back would be high probably over 20k but would settle back to about 12/14 plus away fans as long as we keep winning.

With regards attendance. We got 16 - 17k for a play off semi final. Don't think we'd be pulling that in for a game against donny at the ricoh.

Weird comparison tbf. Sunderland's lowest crowd of the season was the play off semi last season. These games are short notice, from a standing start (no STs), live on TV and midweek. We actually had more home fans for the league game prior to the Notts County game.

NB I don't think we'd have got that sort of figure yesterday, but over 14K would have been likely.

Just realistic. People make so many excuses not to come! You think there’d be 7000 more city fans at the Ricoh I think 3000 more.

The average number of home fans last season was over 11K. This during a season when we were poor at home and never in the top 6. You think yesterday we'd have only had 9200 home fans for that fixture? A game that produced our biggest SA turnout and less than we had for any league game last season bar Fleetwood at home on a Tuesday night. That's mad.

Not that it matters, none of us know for sure anyway. Pointless debate really.

Looks a hell of a lot leaner in the last 2 games than he did earlier in the season. Actually looked quick a couple of times yesterday too. Robins can't be far off giving him a start over Jobello.

At this stage I trust Jobello more in possession to Kasta. Both have different threats.

Aren’t we? Only 5 teams have scored more than us. One being Oxford who have scored 22, but 9 of those have been in their last 2 games! 16 in 10 games isn’t bad, in my opinion.
Peterbrough have scored 23. If we had that scoring ability we would be top. You have to convert chances. Godden was meant to be an answer for us, and I can agree but if the service to him is poor he won't score on a regular basis. That's an issue for me we need to put right to maintain our lofty challenge.
