Seem to remember on here something being said about a protest at the insects first game? Well thats pretty soon and feck all seems to be taking place. Is this another one of them where people are just 'naaa cant be arsed wont change anything'? Or was it trust members talking shite again?

Genuine question

Sunday 20th October London Wasps v London Irish at Coventry’s football stadium. Still playing on sundays is this normal? Personally would love a big protest we could start promoting it now at games and stuff and I’m sure we’d get big numbers. A peaceful march that everyone can attend and also few nutters with some direct action to cause some real disruption to them.

Wasn’t it the Supporters Group that claimed this, only for the Trust to have no idea what they’re on about? Now we’re angry at the Trust for not publicising a protest they never planned?

Peak SBT.

Good more cost for them let’s say it’s going to happen every week

Be good if we could at least get enough people to line the side of the road around the outside of the stadium - everyone stands with their backs to the ricoh and wasps fans , someone rings a bell every 10sec’s or so and people shout shame.

very telling this thread, very little appetite for a wasps protest.

Personally, I would happily pay to go into one game and create a singers corner, all with CCFC flags and scarfs, singing "in our Coventry homes" for however long a rugby match lasts for

I had this dream last night that someone (unknown) went to the Ricoh on the night before the Wasps first game with a carrier bag of SuperGlue tubes from Poundland and glued every single turnstile door and every single lock around the entire stadium!
It was the best nights sleep Ive had in years! Quality!!

If you want to make a genuine difference, why not organise a boycott of all local businesses that support or sponsor wasps?
Obviously we cant impact the big national corporations that sponsor them, but we could do some serious damage to small and local businesses and in so doing starve the tossers of funds!

This sounds stupid but what if
Thousands upon thousands of cov fans go to Ricoh just before w*sps match and spray the Ricoh with wasp repellant!

I'll get my coat..

The only stupid thing is that it won’t happen, would be great if it did and I’m in

Won’t turn up at any Wasps protests. Went the last ‘big one’ and a handful turned out.

Basically... we are a bunch of soft gits who will always have our tummies tickled

Whenever lads turn out and actually do something militant...all the folk on here and every other Cov forums start being all righteous

So I’m out!!!
