Parking advice (1 Viewer)

My last trip to St Andrews saw a 1-0 win with the goal being scored by Terry Gibson. The one before that, Ray Gooding was sent off in a 3-1 opening day defeat.

I'm off to the game tomorrow and would be grateful for any advice on places to park (apologies if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find a thread).

Thanks.

I used JustPark app for the first game. About £5 to park on someone’s drive. Might be worth a look.

@Nick is it worth a sticky of some sort for getting to St Andrews? Could have parking, coaches, train info, etc.

The street that the ground is on, you can street park if you are early enough. Failing that there is plenty on the neighbouring streets from what I saw. I parked outside B&M on Tuesday, the signage says a maximum of 3hrs stay. So If you aren't hanging around before or after, just head into the retail park opposite the ground.

If you don't fancy street parking, there is the Church of God of Prophecy which is about 100 yards from the ground. It's a fiver, but you may need to arrive before the road closure.

Seriously just park on the streets around the ground. You’re wasting money if you pay to park 10 minutes away

We parked in Addersley Street just off the A4540 and it was a 10 minute walk to St Andrews, got there about 2pm and loads of space to park. We had no problems as we headed straight up the A4540 to come home on the M6. We could have parked on Kingston Road which was the other side of the A4540 as there was loads of space there and it is a bit more residential and came home on the A45.
