Just trying to finalise a stag weekend for one of the lads for next April, but there is a split in the camp, some want Dublin and some want Benidorm. I have gone for the Benidorm option.

Thoughts?

What ever the guy who is getting married would prefer is the easy answer

He won't know where we are going until on the day, we have done that for all the group.

It may be just me but stag parties and hen parties just sound so old-fashioned.
Especially today when both men and women often have friends of both sexes.

Dublin a lot more expensive and will be less inclined to let groups of lads in.

Benidorm is cheap as chips and used to large groups of lads getting pissed.

But depends on what type of Stag it is!

For my lot Dublin wouldn’t even be considered. Our next one is in Sunny Beach. Cheapest pint in Europe for the last couple of years running and awash with Bulgarian prostitutes. If that’s your sort of thing.

Yes, been to Sunny Beach on holiday 50p a pint, and food was cheap and good quality (apart from our Sunday lunch in the Red Lion, meat salad and gravy)

The stag weekend is Friday to Sunday, can't get flights from Brum to Bulgaria.

You seem a hoot!

Been to both venues and either will be great. Benidirm cheaper and warmer, Dublin is simply a great place.

That's why I have opted for Benidorm, warm and cheaper. I have heard Dublin is very expensive.

The dorm over Dublin all day long. Cheap as chips and at its best out of season

Nothing stopping women going on stags and visa versa.

Yep no brainer, just watch the pickpockets at night they are fuckers. Don’t take cards out and a sensible amount of cash each night. We went a few years ago, my phone was nicked but every night you heard about someone being tanned either from cards or cash, watches, phones etc!

Dublin will cost considerably more for eats and drinks.
Can pack lighter for benidorm too. Will get away with dressing the stag in mankinis and the like in benidorm.
My brother is getting married and trying to sort out his stag. Think were looking at benidorm, but personally I'm trying to convince everyone to go to Riga.

Never, ever been on a stag do. Am I alone in that?
Only been on one back in the 70's with a load of us to Blackpool from the Market Tavern in the city centre. Just a weekend of punch ups and downing copious amounts of lager. So just like a normal weekend in the Tavern really !

I went there, it didn't really stand out as a stag place?
24 hour square mate! Tbh it depends how old the stag goers are... Im 21 and its perfect for me but there are loads of hen and stags at the weekend, the square and marina was full of them after about 11

I don’t know had a couple of Stag Do’s there!!

The 24 hour square definitely does the job!!! Helps when your Mates Uncle lives out there and can put you in touch with certain people as well!
Always good to know certain people :smuggrin: place is full of birds too

Have you been Riga?

It’s ok but not sure it is quite Stag Do material!
