I never really understand why fans are bothered about the fees we make or we pay. It’s not like we get to see the money. Only real question we should ask is does he improve the squad.

Except that, the more we have to pay for Godden, the less we have to offer for Bright. Robins will be working within some sort of transfer budget.

I don't see what is in it for Wolves in loaning Bright out. His value will decrease as his contract runs down. Surely from their point of view it is better to either sell or sign him on a longer contract, something he might not be prepared to do if he wants to play games.

Seems like he’s scores in spells and is very much a confidence player. Looks more of a finisher than anything else from his videos.

His last goal for Peterborough was against Sunderland. Looks like he could be useful in the air and a good finish from the edge of the box.

still being told by anti sisuers that the club shud be self sufficient without player sales

i am sure i only ever heard them say we have a player sale model to break even?
What they really mean is SISU should be pumping money in without expecting anything back.

Retards most of them - bet the loudest shouters are “NOPM” aswell

well maybe they triggered the contract extension with the idea that loaning him and seeing how he gets on. (my guess/hope is that wolves want him in the Championship but he has said he wants to play for us, hence the hold-up) by loaning him out they doesn't lose anything they would worry. selling him now for 1m isn't going to affect their budgets, id say they are more than happy on loaning him out for a potentially better pay out. the scenarios are

A) he absolutely smashes it meaning he might be ready for the step up and they can offer him a new contract
B) he does OK but still leaves them with one more year first team football that will make compensation due to them is higher
C) he doesn't kick on and leaves for lower sum (still wont lose out)

Also ignoring the fact that many of the players sold signed life changing contracts financially and you can't really stop people doing that without having very disgruntled employees on your hands.
