Yep, we're back to finishing 17th if with the current squad:

Lack of goals
Lack of cover in midfield
Lack of creativity

Lack of optimism, all in front of tiny crowds in Birmingham. Grim.

Doesn't really work that way now they've split the transfer windows, PL and Championship window closes next Thursday/Friday and L1&2 closes start of Sept.
In Theory this is to stop the bigger clubs taking a player on deadline day and then leaving little time for the selling club to replace them. This way the selling club has a month to replace them.

I'm certainly more deflated than a week or so ago with the sales and injuries, but still got eve of season excitement..

It's like losing your virginity - it's exciting but you're a bit scared it'll go horribly wrong.

Yeah, that'd be fine if the seasons didn't all begin on the same day. Our squad is depleted and we've got 4 fixtures in the next fortnight.
