I've also heard he's worked like a dog to get back to fitness after his injury
Another contributor said he looked like he needed to lose a bit of weight but it's actually muscle the lad has put on during the time he couldn't run due to his broken foot
Long term injured players often get forgotten which I think applies here
I expect him to do well given a run of games and he could surprise us all

Yep, I have only heard good things about his attitude!

Yeah when I bumped into him in Bedworth during last season out on his run, he was just muscle, looks solid. Definitely not overweight, especially not when I was stood next to him!

A lot of 20 year old lads haven't got the physicality for league football. As mentioned above Ponticelli seems to have bulked up quite a bit.

... He's on the bench for Tranmere tonight against Liverpool. Not a bad test for him if he gets on in the second half!

Perfect for al parties I say.

Ponti looks like a talent and needs games to prove if he has what it takes or not.

He’s playing in the same division as us. If he does it for another team, he should be able to do it for us.

He’s on a 5 year deal (maybe 4 now since he signed it some time ago) and both he and us need to decide whether he is going to stick around for that period.

Good luck Ponti

I can’t see how anyone can have any complaints.

He’s getting game time in our league, if he does well, it’s a win-win.
