Some great choices for other clubs there, but what about us?

Step forward Robert Jarni, all though in his defence we never actually seen him play

A lot of just bad players instead of bad signing in here.

I'm going for Craig Belamy.

Not a bad player but was needed to replace Keane's goals, coming back from an injury and didn't do the job. Think he may still be our record signing and he was a major contribution towards our relegation with him failing to perform and being a disruptive influence in the dressing room. No way should that squad have been relegated.

Too many. But for me, one that always sticks out for some reason is David Bowman in the mid 80’s.

That’s the issue with talking about the ‘worst signing’. If a useless player was signed for free, on little wages and only played a handful of times, they haven’t negatively affected us that much. I went for sherwood because he barely played but was on top wages. I can definitely see the reasoning behind Bellamy despite him being head and shoulders above Andre Wright.

As I've said elsewhere it depends on what's expected of them etc but in terms of actual ability the worst that stick in my mind are Alex Evtoshuk and Rafaele Nuzzo.

Keith ONeil was one of our top earners
.He was always injured, 7 appearances in 2 years,he even was out injured once after breaking his hand on a fairground punch bag.

I seem to remember him coming on as a sub then pretty much just turning round and walking straight off again cos his hamstring went.

Got to be Bellamy for me aswell. People pointed the finger at the amount of 1 on 1’s Luke Thomas missed-nothing compared to Bellamy in that last season in the Premier. Wasn’t it 6 or 7 goals including a couple of Pens for 6 Million?

Richard Shaw, drained the club for years and was absolutely dire week after week, some how got hero status from our fan base.

First instinct - Steven Hughes who appeared to stopped trying once he had a proper contract but he's not the only one to do this

It’s pointless as is it value related? It’s easy to identify rubbish but the expectation is they were rubbish anyway

Getting Allsop and Coulibaly from Bournemouth in the Wilson deal. Two atrocious players in one swoop.

Allsop - so good we put his name on everyone's elses shirt twice and three on his

How can someone that played 1 cup game after coming on loan be our worst ever signing

If I had to I’d say the worst signing was Eastwood.

There were rumours about his fitness and attitude before he joined. The idiot Coleman said he wanted him on loan first and McCarthy refused knowing he’d lose the sale.

Coleman and the even bigger idiot Ranson then bought him with a 5 year contract basically blowing a large chunk of the budget on a known dud
