Where does this leave Jones and Hiwula?
It's probably a silver lining and good news for Jones
The lad was desperate to get back last season and possibly came back too soon
If we're flying with the new signings Jones will be able to play U23 games and gradually regain his confidence
Others have said that the mental side of things is a huge part of recovering after big injuries

Just watched the clip of Kastaneer's best bits and while I'm very impressed with the trickery, pace and passing it does make me wonder if this is a replacement for Bright as opposed to a winger that we've signed outright.

Very similar players that like to run with the ball at their feet and make things happen.

Would love to see us sign Bright still, but unless a Bayliss or a Wilson moves on in this window I can't see it happening.

Looks like a pacier version, hard to compare properly but he does look like he can play central.

The other thing is that with his height, Hiwula could play in front of him too.

More I watch him more I think he’s a replacement for bright tbh

Agreed. Undoubtedly Hiwula is better through the middle than out wide and we would still require require another winger, but playing Kastaneer out wide would allow us to play Hiwula up top.

Aside from that it'll be interesting to see how Robins forms his attack, especially if we can Jodi Jones back and firing to the level he was at before his injury.

Looks like another quality signing, they might as well present us with the league one winners trophy now.

love the way we're going about our business at the moment, signing announced once they're done rather than weeks of speculation, getting them in early and on decent length contracts.

Looks good. Happy with 2 physical wingers and looks technically good too. Looking forward to seeing this squad in action even if I won’t be going to Brum every week.

Can't use it, but it fits and it is a shameless plug for a fantastic song.

Looks an interesting player ... from those highlights very keen to take his man on (similar to Bright) but plays in a wider position.
Seems to often play like a centre forward with his back to goal and roll his man. I can see him and Hiwula interchanging but would prefer to try Jordy up front given his goal tally last season.
So one from the Dutch Caribbean, one from the French Caribbean. We just need the Michael Doyle of St. Vincent and the Grenadines now and we're set...

Hiwula is a striker by trade, was out of position really last season and still was our top scorer!

If we have a front 4 of - Hiwula, Jobello, Kastaneer and Bright - We are going up!

More than anything I'm just delighted we're going into a pre-season with what appears almost a complete squad barring a couple of additions that I hope will be up front and in midfield (Bright hopefully).

And for crying out loud, please let this be a season where we don't have long term injuries. You would think we're due a bit of luck on that front what with Andreu, Jones and Biamou over the last couple of years.

Despite all the issues it does seem like we've got a fantastic football model in action and I'll be really excited to see what we do if someone pays £30mil upwards for Wilson.

Does this come with a free packet of razor blades Otis?
Wouldn't want to listen to/watch this if I'd just had a breakdown in my relationship!

Jones is injured, we have to plan accordingly!

As for Hiwula, 12 goals from the wing... he’ll probably play up front next season!

If we don’t sign Bright, I can see us playing 4-4-2 next season.

Fair few NAC fans happy to see the back of him. Hopefully a clean slate this season as it's clear from the comments the move didn't work out too well for him.

Interesting team recruitment from MR, players brought in on 2and 3 year contracts,, more to come ?? Well there’s been no loans yet has there this is where Bright might come in, especially now Wolves have exercised their 12 month option. I’d still like another striker though..
