One of my favourite TV shows of all time.
Gabrielle Drake and Wanda Ventham!
I think every episode is available on Youtube.
Ed Bishop died in 2005. He was an excellent actor.
He's buried in Napton, Warwickshire.
Ed Bishop - Wikipedia
Wanda Ventham was a looker in her day

MSN Headline: "Freddie Starr found dead at 76"
Police are concerned because they say he lived at number 72.

Yes she was HH just watching bbc4 now about her,And that famous song all teams love to sing
She had the most stunning blue eyes I've ever seen on anyone. (Well, apart from Paul Newman, and he's a bloke, so he don't count!)

Didn't actually realise she had feline dwarfism which caused her to be permantly 'grumpy'.

She made a family lots of lolly, RIP

Niki Lauda. A proper legend of a bloke.

Now that's a great sporting comeback. On the brink of death, having the last rites read, and yet 40 days later he's back in the car. Must have been hell for him, but he did it and still had a stellar career afterwards. The word legend is used to easily these days, but in Lauda's case, it's entirely appropriate.

There's a track on Paul McCartney & Wings 'Band on the Run' album called Mrs Vandebilt. Not sure if it was meant as some sort of tribute to her?

I wasn't aware of that but I don't think there can be any connection as the names are spelt differently.

I noticed they were spelt differently and checked online. It appears they ARE different.

Ross Perot, 89, billionaire businessman and ex-presidential candidate.
He was famous for his TV presentations where he explained the state of the US economy by using graphs.
He was a far better version of Trump but the USA wasn't ready for him at the time.
