Doubtful any player with any type of pedigree will come to us in our current situation particularly as the manager more than likely Robins will be off shortly if things are not sorted

Absolute nonsense, he won’t go anywhere, I genuinely think he know she he’s onto a good thing with us in the long-term. He has also blamed the council in the press previously.

No chance. Doubt we will be able to strengthen/improve the squad, think it'll just be adding to the numbers

Another non-story from the smellograph, egurgitating Robins’ post-March comments from the Doncaster game. Absolutely no indication that he’s on the wanted list. I read somewhere that they turned down a sizeable bid from a Championship club in January so doubt we are in a position to spend 7 figures irrespective of if Wilson is sold and we are able to invest.

With the ground share now looking set in stone, I imagine that any income from the sell-on would offset the inevitable losses anyway.

Was that all it was based off? A comment after our game with them?

I’m fairly sure yes which is why I thought it was a bizarre article.

Yes he implied that he was the benchmark for that type of striker in this league but he never said he was after him or anything to that effect. He wouldn’t do that anyway. Click-bait at its finest.... as usual.

That's a bit desperate

Quiet days - need for a story. A bit like the article saying that the 5-4 win at Sunderland turned their season around. It's just regurgitating old news and trying to put a different slant on it to create a 'new' story.

Forget signings with no ground no1 is coming to this mess
Apart from rose & mcfadzen, and the new goalie coach from wolves.
Still think players will come to Cov because it’s still a decent attraction to most players around this level & whatever ground they have sorted must be half decent I reckon

I doubt many of these possible signings have a scooby about our ground issue and most of not all will be away on holiday now, don’t think any actually sign before the end of May anyway by then we will all know our fate.

Surely this would only come about if 1) Donny fail to go up, which has happened and 2) Wilson gets sold on for mega money
