Gilbert now saying it can't be withdrawn

Surely that’s obvious? If the EC believe there’s foul play involved, SISU can’t suddenly withdraw the complaint on the basis of ‘oh actually we’ve changed our minds because it doesn’t suit the commercial interests of one of our portfolio’s’. This is now an investigation into whether CCC has provided state aid which has given Wasps an advantage over CRC, CCFC etc. It’s out of their hands.

Not negotiation because of it going on heavily implies worry. Not even legal costs to fall back on as an excuse this time.
I know that’s the line but it could just as easily be commercial negotiation. What does the statement say? I think often we say stuff on here and enough agree and it becomes gospel.

It’s the adult version of it’s my ball and if you want to play these are the rules. No worry imvolved in that surely

Are you really posting to defend things without really knowing what you are trying to defend?

I’m posting to have a discussion. Sisu are repeating the same argument. I’m not defending anyone. It’s a shit storm and a plague on all houses. But to suggest wasps are worried that’s why they are pulling out without evidence is as bad as what you’re accusing me of

Is this the comment that shows wasps are worried,

In the statement, Wasps’ chief executive Nick Eastwood said “the ball was back in the court of CCFC’s owners” as conditions set out to enter into discussions had “not been met”.

Well I think I was right. They own the leasehold if Sisu want a deal they need to play the game.

Everyone is taking us fans for mugs nick

Technically SISU hasn't broken any conditions on this occasion.

What you are saying is that if the club want to play there then every hoop Wasps put up must be jumped through, you don't have an issue I guess?

I am not too sure what you were even trying to defend before you had even read the wasps statement.

there have been lots of statements over the years, most of which have been nonsense, why is the next one going to be so important?

Club now in a hole the only announcement that can provide anything new would be telling us where CCFC are playing next season. It is not going to be the Ricoh

I understand your point. Saying Wasps are worried about something is pure speculation. But the fact they’re so adverse to something that neither directly involves them nor is legal action is odd to say the least, even you have to admit that. Why have they moved the goalposts? If they’ve done nothing wrong why has a complaint caused them to withdraw from talks with immediate effect? I’m not saying they have or they haven’t by the way, their entrenched stance just seems very bizarre in my opinion.

Happy with bizarre they may just be pissed off though and it’s their ground so Sisu has to suck up. Not bend over just suck up or move

How is the ball back in the court of CCFC's owners? There is nothing they can do to meet the conditions Wasps have now put it place, it is literally impossible.

BECAUSE IT MAKES PEOPLE SHOUT AT THEM! RAR!

It's like when Wasps wanted to take on the Higgs and they said the same thing over and over "Kicking barn at commercial rates, the door is open".

That is absolutely true if they can’t wothdraw the complaint. That’s a fact. I suppose they could have mentioned it before going into discussions. Doesn’t help us though as ccfc
