Looks like they seemed to know about it judging by this:

WASPS have returned to threats to kick out Coventry City from the Ricoh Arena ground built for it amid confidential talks – unless its owner protects the rugby club from any potential damages resulting from a complaint to the European Commission.
Damages to who? Don’t see anything wrong with their ultimatum if they don’t have to pay SISU. But if it’s damages to the tax payer - why would people be against it?

I think all parties are to blame in this absolute shambles! Bad decisions from all sides and just when I started getting optimistic that all this was coming to an end, it's the fans who get kicked in the teeth! Yet again!

Thinking this EU thing is Sisu trying to keep legals going but the sneaky way.Got into negotiations & then made this complaint.

The negotiations clearly haven’t been in good faith, because either

A) SISU raised the saga with the European Commission, thus attempting to spin out the legals again, but kept CCC and Wasps in the dark about it.

or

B ) CCC and Wasps knew all along that SISU had taken it to Europe, but carried on pretending to negotiate, so that right at the end they could pull the plug and blame SISU, thus achieving their primary aim of ejecting CCFC from the Ricoh (or changing the regime).

Option B seems very popular, so have I missed the proof? I’m sure there are plenty of variations on the above (e.g. the Council knew but Wasps didn’t), but surely before people start throwing bricks or putting anyone’s head on a stake, we ought to establish for sure what actually happened?

Truly sick to the stomach with the whole thing.

Someone has made the effort to make up a les reid parody account on twitter to tweet everyone who’s blaming the wasps that it’s nothing to do with them, some people have way too much time on their hands lol

Pretty embarrassing for somebody on the board of the sky blue trust isn't it? Much the same as when he was posting pictures calling season ticket holders "nobs".

Its been running for a while. He is a "Sky blues trust" board member (allegedly)....
Hence the anti Sisu slant. Will deflect from wasps and council at every opportunity. What does that say about the Sky Blues Trust..."the voice of the fans"!!?????

SISU would have known that at some point it would come out if it was A so why would they not have waited until the deal was done or sat down for a deal earlier?

Remember when people said ‘all SISU have to do is drop the legals’...

Yet here we are!

I think it would be interesting to when Wasps knew about the referral to EC and if they pulled out straight away Did Sisu tell them they had done this? Doubt either of them did. This is what i dislike about the whole situation we can never get a deal neither of them have an ounce of honesty.

This is where it's all a game. Read what has been said since, wasps want immunity against any outcome of the complaint.

Pretty obvious which side that's come from too.

Did that happen this afternoon in between ccfc saying talks were on and then wasps saying not? Maybe it is an on going sticking point?

What’s to research? You thinking your ‘in the know’?
I've never claimed to be in the know. After a few years you can spot certain things a mile off.

Accounts that have been on here a couple of weeks and act like experts on certain posters are usually a sign. Then it moves onto the flounce.

As I've said, do some research and you will see ;)
