Can't see it. Probably just trying to remember his day out at the Ricoh.

Has been released from Stoke though.

maybe he just knows someone who is signing for us , he follows a lot on twitter!... then again , we keep being told we will be really surprised by who we are signing, and with all due respect to the two names linked with us so far ( one of whom has already pre-signed ) they aren't THAT surprising are they ?

how does the twitter follower thing work, does it show the latest follows first ??

if so, CCFC just followed Kieran Westwood , not sure if thats correct or even been mentioned yet already

he was good at liverpool even if not successful or as good as some temmates

hes very talented but is he too old now? he could possiblt still do a job in league 1 dictating the play

I can vaguely remember him having a good spell there, don't think he ever did much at Stoke but could be wrong , I don't really follow their form.

Avoid. Our record with past-their-best PL "has beens" tells you all we need to know.

I think we've had enough of Premier League has beens in recent years haven't we? Meyler couldn't even cut it last season and he's 4 years younger than Adam!

He's not featured regularly for Stoke over the past three years averaging about 20 apps per season and like we did with Joe Cole, we'd end up waiting all season for him to get fit yet still play him and it'd end up costing us valuable points. So, would more than likely be a dreadful signing and his contract would command significant wages even with a salary cut. Definitely avoid.

I hope you are excluding Dennis wise from that

Yes, I was thinking more along the lines of Flowers, Sherwood, Hendry, Ramage, Hunt etc. Yes Wise is an exception but one that proves the general rule.

Well Joe Cole was good ! and no one believed that and Dennis Wise was also very good and no one believed that - so why not
