SISU will eventually sell the club as has always been their plan
For all we know negotiations might be going on right now (I have no info on whether they are or not)
It's a moot point whether a new buyer would want to be tied into a long term deal at the Ricoh, negotiated by SISU or whether they'd like to start with a clean slate

Is it Hoffman?

Not that I give toss about the Wasps generally but could the alleged financial irregularities cause them that much of a problem or are we just talking a slap on the wrist?

I don’t mind a medium term deal with wasps, as long as our value to them is recognised. Any increase in costs should grant us talks with regards to naming rights. I’m not saying we should be give a big proportion but it has to be acknowledged that our name will bring more to them then they admit

So maybe all the work the Trust has been doing and done have paid dividends?

I'm sorry, but the Trust has done very little to influence these talks, nothing more than the average fan in fact.

The discussions have only been possible because SISU's litigation failed and that opened the opportunity for discussions between the two parties.

I certainly do nt want any long term deal at thr Ricoh whilst Franchise London Wasps are our landlords.
I can nt see how we progress with such limited income.
Not what people want to hear but i d have gone with the leave for a year, as near as possible to Coventry, Blues maybe.
No I did nt go to Northampton, yes I ve a season ticket and have for ever bar Northampton, yes I go to away games.
Can nt stand SIsu, can nt stand London Wasps and will never forgive CCC.
That one year with income from Wilsons sale, may have been enough to bankrupt London Wasps which I would love to see.
Pusb.

Haha, deluded. I think it has more to do with a general change of attitude amongst CCFC fans - not the lot in your echo chamber obviously. The song on Good Friday showed, for the first time, how CCFC fans are feeling about the protagonists.

Also, the guy next to me who never went to Sixfields and won't discuss it with me said he would go to a groundshare this time because "it's a different situation. Wasps and the Council have shown to be at fault too now." It's been a trickle, but now many can see what others have done to our Club.

Sorry, but the Trust and JHW are fucking useless and they always have been.

David Johnson also giving statements making out it's because of him and the Trust.
Please be joking. You've got the club and Wasps saying there will be no further comment and they've not leaked anything to the Telegraph or Observer. Even the council are keeping quiet. The last thing we need is him pissing anyone off.

One year makes sense given how little time there is to get this sorted. Assuming we are at the Ricoh next year, and I certainly hope we are, what follows next is key. One year and we'll immediately start talks about a longer deal is a very different situation to one year and there's no way we're extending it again.

Would prefer longer than a year. Our continued tenancy at the Ricoh is unlikely to make or break Wasps financially and I don't want to be going through this shit every year. Hope they can agree/sort something with the pitch though as it hampered us this year (although looked a lot better Fri...especially compared to Stanleys on tv). Probably not an issue in the Championship but down the leagues lesser footballing teams benefit.

Beggars cant be choosers though and its better than Burton away every other week !

Wonder who pushed for one year. If Sisu it raises a few questions. I’d assume they’re planning either court action or hoping Wasps go bust in the next year, but not sure how either would help another deal.

If Wasps go bust any deal would be void I’d assume and if there’s court action surely you don’t want rent negotiations while it’s ongoing.

Maybe Wasps asked for it because there is more court action coming?

Haven't Wasps said they won't even discuss if there are legals?

Is it not possible that a year deal could be effectively a placeholder, to allow more time to negotiate a longer deal? Maybe wishful thinking but if wasps wouldn't talk until legals were dropped, it's possible is it not?

I don’t sit next to you but I would have gone this time and didn’t go to Northampton either this is totally different than before.

It was good to see all parties getting stick on Friday the only ones that escaped are the dreadful efl

Me too, but shhh don't shout it too loudly as if they think we're more likely to travel there remains a second option and I'd still prefer to stay in Cov ;)

Depends who you ask I have seen that little fat idiot with the hat that follows them say it’s old news, personally they should be punished heavily so people don’t think they can get away with this dodgy stuff.

Hello to all my friends on drunken wasps as I am sure you are reading:emoji_middle_finger:

The trust have done somewhat less than the average fan, I'd argue, given their remarkable attitude towards avoiding criticising anyone other than the owners.

It'll be interesting to see how Wasps are regarded by the average fan if they start to turn the screw on the club now that the legals have finally stopped...

I'd like to give credit to The Jimmy Hill Way for accusing Mark Robins of being a SISU puppet yes man lapdog who should shut the fuck up and just manage the team, confirming that nobody should ever listen to a single word The Jimmy Hill Way will ever say again.

Not even that if people boycott it will force the club into admin so the fans can take it over?

The media should just blacklist him rather than entertain his nonsense.

Why is his view about our home games relevant after he has been boycotting for a reason that doesn't exist?

Is it the same guy as 'Liesreid'? Notice that account's suddenly been awfully prolific just as Fisherbaiter is suspended. Emphasis on awful
