You are correct
We did put 6 past them I think early 80,s
I’m just happy to know my memory still works on occasions. Livingstone went on a goal scoring run of JCH proportions.
Im sure he had 8 in 4 at one stage. I think I always knew he wasn’t that good but enjoyed his purple patch.

Yes 6- 1
Starting role from Gerry Francis that night.

I suspect crowd was about 8 thousand something that night. So put 11 thousand today in perspective.

I remember it well. Absolutely threw it down all day and the game was in doubt until the last minute. Perhaps that’s why the crowd was so low. Steve Jacobs scores a decent goal for us.

I was there too. As you say, it pissed down all night. For a mid-week game, Blunderland brought decent numbers. They encouraged their team all the way through the game and when we scored the 5th, they started singing defiantly, 'we'll support you evermore'. Then we got a 6th and every last one of them got up and left the stadium. Or.... they would have done if the gates out hadn't been locked ! Was funny as fuck. Pity we didn't score a 7th !

Of it goes to form from them lot it would either be:
1) they lost or a sore draw so the opposition fans were scum
2) they won comfortably so the away fans were okay but probably a bit quiet.

So donny will be classed as no 2 today

Beat them 6-1 in '82 and 5-0 in the league cup in 1990 (my first game)
